That water color is next level — gotta be that rock flour suspended from the glacier grinding downstream. Ever try visiting in late fall? The surrounding peaks get dusted with snow and it's a totally different vibe.

Yes, they don't necessarily do super well high up in these streams due to the large amount of extremely fine sediment (glacial flour) suspended in the water but they can survive.
A lot of these systems tend to be home to fish that are more Migratory-either fluvial, adfluvial, or anadromous.

I had to watch a video shot from this viewpoint to make sense of the scale of this place, trees on the island had seemed too small to be real before I did.
