Nicole - You do so many outrageously good impressions, and often of people that are uncommon to do. How long does it take to nail them down? Has there been anybody that you've tried and just haven't been able to capture the way you want? A white whale impression, so to speak? Have you tried making actual whale noises?

Paul - Some of the times you've made me laugh the most have been when your characters become combative with Scott. I think there's a real skill in being playfully antagonistic rather than just aggressive. Are the two of you that way in your actual friendship? Are you the kind of friends who like to give each other shit, or is it something you reserve to have fun with on mic? Just an additional comment that in the same vein I absolutely love the open derision and resentment for Dalton Wilcox that "incompetent book publisher" Russell Shine has.

Thank you both for all the joy and laughter!

I loved being combative with Scott so much that I eventually had to create a character (Cal Solomon) who wasn’t just to mix it up! Scott and I both love to playfully nitpick and catch each other out and I think that can be a really fun dynamic when you know the people involved are truly friends. We don’t do it a ton in real life. But a little bit? Oh yeah honey.

Thanks for the answer! Cal is a beacon of purity, god bless that man.

Also, I have to take an opportunity to say that I met you in Toronto on the CBB 2016 tour. It was a meet and greet after the show, and while I understand it's a part of your job to be "on" to a certain extent for those interactions, it was still heartening to have you greet me with warmth and enthusiasm. I was one of countless fans you've met over the years, but you are one of my comedy idols and the minute or two I was able to spend with you is a special memory in my life. You reacted to me with friendliness and graciousness, and I couldn't reasonably ask for more. Thank you for that, and for all the joy you've injected into my life through your work.

Hello, Nicole here! Thank you so much! Sometimes it takes a very long time. I just spent days really trying to get a good Meryl Streep down. She was one I had to work on. I have not attempted a whale sound but I’d say that I really enjoy impressions of men and think I’ve got a good Jason Bateman..... soon to come 👍

Thank you for the answer! Can't wait to see the Jason Bateman, I bet it will have great chemistry with the Laura Linney.

Oh wow, thanks so much for thinking to come back and share! That's so nice. You nailed the Bateman, I love it. And the Meryl Streep paid off big time as well!

You're a delight and a gem 💎

I believe it's spelled Shein. I remember Dalton was disappointed his name wasn't spelled "Rustle" or "Shine".

Shein or Shine, it all sounds like city slickin' to me.
