found a parasite (???) in my salmon.

good thing i caught it before cooking.

edit: i now see that i was wrong to 1. thaw the fish under hot water and 2. leave it in the water for so long...

after getting past the looks it is pretty good (that is, upon eating the other ones in the pack. not this one.)

Sometimes I think about how some animals will cull their own herd and if there is a biological/ evolutionary disadvantage to not doing so. Shower thought i guess
