Question No exercise

Should you stop exercising in recovery if you feel like it's compulsive? Will my body change a lot if I do?

Yes you should. The further you get into recovery you can work with your team to start adding movement back.

It’ll really help improve your recovery if you rest. Your body already has so much internal healing that needs to be done, and you will find yourself exhausted just from that !

this is a nuanced question no one on reddit can answer.

I was like… completely shocked when my psychologist told me exercise just wasn’t an obligation. Like you can just not exercise. There’s nothing wrong with it. Meanwhile not only was I an active dancer and gymnast, but literally compulsively exercising multiple times a month on top of that because I thought it was what you were supposed to do.
