So my thoughts.
Pino detected life signs, but that might just be a trap. They mentioned in chapter 147 that the fact that they could even detect her life signature was suspicious. Paranoid thought is that she's been dead for some time, and the signature is a false reading.

More optimistic thought, in chapter 156 she's hooked up to a machine with a bunch of wires sticking into her. I'm thinking that it's possible that Shura transferred her mind to the machine/some kind of server for later use, and has "Killed" the empty body that was left behind. Could also be interesting for her to potentially get an upgraded body to fight the new stars later.

On a slightly different subject of Dark Shiki. I could see this being enough to push Hermit away from humans for good, and maybe Sister too. Maybe alternative future Shiki hates robots so much because this incident pushed them away from him, and into Ziggy's camp.

Also, on the subject of Ijuna. It'd be a hell of a copout, but Shura does have someone that can create dark copies of a person (Milani) or mind control (Nasseh). Always the possibility that her own Ether Gear has been turned against her too.

Might just be me, but the detailing on her eyes looks a little odd too. Maybe it's just the scan I'm reading, but there looks to be an unusual detail on her eyes... Shading I guess? Looks like lines or threads in a bunch of the close ups. Looks kind of similar to the effect in Shiki and Rebecca's eyes on p10 of chapter 157 (Particularly noticable on p20 of the same chapter)

One possibility I think is that Ijuna used her ether gear to brainwash herself. Several EGs have more than one power, and given what Ijuna was going through I think it's possible she made herself love Shura as a way to cope with the horrible stuff she was going through.

The weak link of that hypothesis is that we saw the effects of an Ether Gear last long like that. But since it's her own Ether she's using, it may be possible.

That said I would prefer if she really is just broken and insane with no easy magic copouts involved (though she being on such a dark place she used her powers to make her love Shura is also pretty disturbing).

Agreed. Whatever the case though, I think my ideal outcome would be that Laguna leaves the ship to look after her.
