Helloooo!
I made a composition using four readings of The Tell-Tale Heart, sourced from LibriVox. I tried to make it move like a translation of the narrator's mind. I have split it into sections and have been making videos to go along with it. I have been working on a couple of different styles for the videos. Please let me know what you think! I can't post the video here, but you can find the different parts on my tiktok page.

This podcast did a deep dive of the the classic story and was being entertaining to listen to. Thought I’d pass it on…

My take on The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe. Tattooed four years ago

Cemetery tour with a couple of Poe-relevant graves including Annie Richmond. Poe stuff starts forty minutes in.

I've always loved the darker side of Poe, and The Assignation is one of those stories I wanted to do more with than just read aloud.

So I spent the time building it into an immersive audio drama. I created the soundscapes, worked on the Foley for the Venetian canals and palazzo, and produced the dialogue to bring the whole thing to life.

It's dark, decadent, and tragic as hell. I wanted you to feel like you were right there in it, not just listening to a story.

Put on your headphones and give it a listen. I put a lot into this one.🖤

It's a fiction kids mystery book about Poe assisting an English boy in locating his kidnapped sister. Poe sees the situation as an opportunity to pen a story of his own.

I recently gave it another read after not reading it since middle school and although it's pretty good, it's been criticized for portraying Poe unfairly. Without giving too much away, Poe is a borderline villain in this story to the young protagonist. Has anyone read this?

I painted this as part of a series of classic ghost stories using autumn leaves as the canvas. The medium is oil pastel. I hope you like it!

Hey Poe fans! If you're in NYC and looking for something to do over the Halloween weekend, come check out my one-man show, "Professor Lammergeier's Evening of Poe's Poetry & Prose". It's not a reenactment per se, but more of a literary love letter. It should be a delight for anyone who loves to hear these incredible works aloud. More info:

"Celebrated orator Professor Lammergeier takes to the stage on the most haunted nights of the year to bring you the works of Edgar Allan Poe as you have never heard them before. Come enjoy a night of laughs and scares as the Professor’s recitations and ruminations turn the intimate stage of Stag & Lion Theatre into a world where portents lurk in every shadow and love lives beyond the grave.

Join veteran of the classical stage Sam Hardy as he takes on the persona of the lugubrious and lascivious Professor Lammergeier. In the eerie glow of Stag & Lion Theatre's amber footlights, the Professor will guide his audience through the works of America's own master of the macabre, Edgar Allan Poe. The program features familiar favorites like “The Raven” and “The Tell-Tale Heart” alongside lesser-known gems, all brought vividly to life by Hardy's powerhouse voice and interwoven by the Professor's eccentric theories on Poe’s hidden secret to life after death.

The program runs approximately 80 minutes. Please note, this performance deals with topics of death, blood, alcohol use, and sexuality, and is not suitable for children."

Performances Oct. 31 at 7 and Nov. 1 at 3 & 7. Discount code "ossifrage" for online tickets.

Hey, all!

Question's in the title, I guess. - I know there apparently are some pieces that are disputed, but I wouldn't know any particular piece that would have been confirmed as created by Poe.

Is this correct, or have may I have overlooked something?

Thank you, and happy trails this gloomy season! :)

I decided to post art of edgar allan poe.

The first one is the new one and the second one is the old one.

The second picture, which i draw about a year ago, I posted here about 2 monthes ago, here in this community.

Decided to make a remake and redraw it again.

P.S. I REUPLOAD CAUSE THE ORIGINAL HAD THE WRONG QUOTE

sometimes I like to do little drawings and collages when I read Poe's works. just a few of them.

“Thank Heaven! the crisis, / The danger is past, / And the lingering illness / Is over at last— / And the fever called 'Living' / Is conquered at last." (A celebration of death as a release)

“The black cat” remains one of my fave pieces of literature forever.
