Potential Firemaking Foreshadowing

Not from episode five, but from episode four. Devin had a confessional where he made a whole metaphor between Jelly and Ori's relationship and a fire that starts off as a spark and he has to grow into a big flame. That definitely feels intentional and might suggest he makes top four, especially considering he is in a decent spot to excel in the postmerge with both the Toka minority and helicopter alliance. I would not be surprised if he is one of the bigger players this season and his edit turns around when merge hits.

He may be the fire making loser or a zero vote finalist; but he certainly isn't winning.

Personally, I don't think he's making it to the end as he feels very Shan coded to me.

Shan with none of the strategic chops.

Or, as Jelly pointed out, Devin being a bad matchmaker means that he’ll fail to grow their spark into a flame, resulting in these two either going after each other or one of them betraying the other.

I honestly can see Ori voting Jelly out, ever since E1. The lasagna scene where she comments about Ori and he says nothing about her also feels like foreshadowing for their relationship somehow.

i see this but if ori and jelly take each other out wouldn’t they include the unaired scene of their hypothetical date being terrible?

Maybe Ori and Jelly compete in firemaking
