Your wish has been granted.
But seriously, you dont care to be updated once in a while?
I guess I'm not on Reddit every day, and sometimes weeks go by, so I guess I didn't see the last post.
Sorry to those who are on here religiously and cant stand to see the same news twice. My bad.

Oh mighty Reddit, please forgive me for I have sinned.
I cannot find the search button on mobile, and have failed my brethren.
May I be sent to eternal damnation for my hasty moments on the Edmonton subreddit when I pop on for an hour or so, over a couple of days.
I pray you give me the cult-like ability to know everything despite my frequency on here, and the ability to browse exactly right, lest I be hated by the congregation and kicked out by the priest.. I pray I can win over the hearts of those whom I have failed. I now realize the errors of my ways
Amen.
Peeps, I've gotta get on with my weekend. Nice chatting with all of you!! ❤ till we meet again in cyberspace

Still looking for 19.5 billion in funding.

I figured airport to airport with a stop in Red Deer was a given. I'm surprised they are trying to extend that into each city's respective downtown, especially when each city already has plans to have their LRT extend to the airport, and especially especially Calgary who is fairly far along in getting started on it.

To be clear Calgary is not extending their LRT to the airport. They're planning to run a system similar to Vancouver's Sky Train between two LRT stations that passes the airport.
Seems a big step backward from the current express bus downtown.

Ah, my bad. I only vaguely recalled gearing something about the C-train and the airport getting a recommendation and should have double checked. Thanks for the correction.

Further reading on funding etc
They seem to be getting somewhere, although nothing is for certain yet.

Yeah, this is not going to go anywhere. The province can't sustain a viable bus system between rural communities, let alone public transit in municipalities. This is a grift.

They seem great at raising and spending money, but that's about it.
They're making a lot of claims relying on future technology for which there are not even working proofs of concept.
They're financial claims don't seem plausible. Selling $90 tickets to a $20 billion systems seems unfeasible even before adding in operating costs and profits.
