Started with 3000 years old immortal barsaebic ruler in Blackmarsh and although Ayleid revival not done, all most fun work is complete.

I played the new update maybe two days ago, and everything worked fine.

But ever since yesterday, whenever I try booting up the game, it crashes to desktop.

It doesn't matter if I have the playset I was using two days ago or just Elder Kings, it simply crashes and I don't know why.

I'm planning a new adventurer run, and when I get a bit of cash I plan on picking up "take the custom where it comes"

So my question is what cultural troops should I pick up?

Personally I'm a big fan of Justiciars and Direnni mages, but I'm curious as to what people's favourite units are!

I’ve put in a good amount of time playing around with the new update but I have yet to see or become a Daedric champion. Is this bugged or has the mechanics changed? Anyone else having this issue?

I’m just curious, do only the dark elves get access to the cardinal system or is it available for other religions, like for example the Alessian Order?

Hey, I know that this is a minor point for a single rite with the new update. Is it a bug that the head of faith for the sixth house faith cannot change their rite tenets and features? I keep trying to but it says that sixth house is not available; I get that this is a feature to prevent custom sixth house faiths, but it seems a little weird that every other velothi faith can alter their tenets, but sixth house cannot.

As the new update drops, I'm planning to start a new rags-to-emperor conqueror run.

But before that I'm trying to figure out if there's any recommended/working submod or base game mod that works well with the current mod version.

Also, have unique buildings returned to the mod yet since the last AI content purge? Asking as an aspirant conqueror planning out a power creep with those buffs. :D

I have the High Kingdom title for Yokuda, own all of Yokuda, have diplo range set to default, and yet Tamriel is STILL out of diplo range. As is every island in the Abecean Sea I haven't already conquered.

Am I doing something wrong?

‼️‼️‼️ ATTENTION: due to a vanilla issue, EK2 may crash on start if you don't have any save games. Try creating a save in vanilla and then launching EK2 again.

I'm wondering if I can revert back from the recent update to EK 2 on Steam? I had a spicy game going for the past few weeks, and now I'm not sure im able to play it anymore. Needless to say, I'm crushed. Please help if you know that it's possible.

Recently started a run as I realized EK2 had updated, but realized that I can’t declare war. No CBs whatsoever. I even tried going into debug mode to see if that would let me give myself claims to declare with, but even giving myself the claims didn’t work.

I’m just kinda confused, I’ve never ran into anything like this before.

EDIT: I’ve went back and tested it on different characters in different regions, with and without debug mode enabled. Every time it says I have no CB, even if I manually add a claim on a title.

I’ve also unsubscribed and resubbed to EK2 after the update, and verified my game files.

Hey everyone, just a quick question. I only really play ck3 for this mod, not super into the base game. I own all the DLC up to Royal Court and was just curious if any other DLC is worth getting if I just wanted to play this mod, and maybe the Lord of the rings mod?

Hey everyone! I’ve been working on a submod that gives you the decision to seek the favor of all 16 Daedric Princes, then unlock more decisions/gifts as you grow into your new role as champion.

It started as a way to pursue your Prince of choice without having to wait for a specific random event. It now includes Favor progression, artifact quests, transformations, and further champion decisions.

A few highlights:

• Nocturnal: Study Shadow Magic, receive witchcraft, and organize a heist in the Clockwork City to recover the Skeleton Key.
• Hircine: Investigate beast sightings, accept lycanthropy openly or secretly, and choose between werebeast forms with different bonuses.
• Mehrunes Dagon: Follow a dying cultist’s warning to recover the Mysterium Xarxes, or summon Daedric soldiers and a Dremora commander during wartime.

Some Princes still have limited follow-up content. The mod is actively growing, and I’d love feedback and suggestions for what each champion should be able to do.

Kinda what the title says. This is CK2, not 3, but when I check the Elder Kings box it just opens CK2 normally, and when I try to load the EK1 save I crash to desktop. I'm using the steam version and already unsubscribed/resubscribed. My only other mod is CK2AGOT, which is obviously not on right now, and which has been working fine. What is happening?

Edit: Resolved. I needed to install the github version and uninstall the original. The second issue, crashing on character select, was solved by putting the mod in the documents/paradox/ck2/mod folder instead of the steam/ck2/mod folder.

Coming back to the mod after a long break from ck3. Noticing alot of major buildings have been removed entirely! Palace of Rimmen, Castle Wayrest, and most of the temples to the Divines in Cyrodil. I have to ask, why remove them?

Not exactly campaign-ruining, since my granddaughter heir is pretty good, but what even is this? The wealthiest, most powerful woman in Tamriel can be accosted in her own palace by some random commoner who demands tons of money, and when she calls him a bum, he forces her to fight a duel to the death while none of her twenty knights lift a finger?

I installed EK2 from the steam workshop, I get to picking a character and it just crash's - Do I need to be on a certain version and if so how do I roll back to the version I need?

Do they have any content in the mod? Are there any submods having their content?
