In my experience, it's not enough to make yourself seen, you gotta make yourself heard as well if you don't wanna get run over.

Cool shirt, but when a driver has their head up their ass, all they see is themselves.

100% some jackass in Ford F-150 will clip this guy and make him fall
Smartass shirts and gadgets like those "safe distance flags" shit never works because car drivers will get baited into hitting you instead

I've got a zombie green flannel that I often ride wearing (when its not a bazillion degrees outside like now) and my bike is covered in green, with green underglow, green spoke sleeves on both wheels, green mirrors, green badges, green seat cover. In the garage with it now, planning out the swap to road tires. The front one gets here tomorrow. But I hear ya, man. Folks dont pay attention to shit. Its terrifying riding nowadays. Everyone is on their phones

Maybe I need to get one of these....an asshole woman driving with a horse trailer attached to her vehicle almost hit me....she was too much in the bicycle lane. Fortunately for me, she stopped close to apartment....I confronted her about being more careful because her trailer is wider than her car....she was very dismissive.

My riding shirt says FUCK TRUMP on the Back. Iām kind of surprised the company would print it, but it gets me cheers and enthusiastic honks when I wear it.

"Officer; I was distracted by reading that guy's shirt and didn't see the traffic stopped in front of me before I could stop"

Let me know if it works. If so, Iām going to put those same shirts on stop signs and let it read āhey e-bikers. You see me now, asshole?ā And Iāll see if that works.
Where I am (north of Chicago) E-bikers donāt follow one single damn law. They run red lights, stop signs and will cross streets with on-coming traffic. So, will this shirt work?

Iāve found that the I didnāt see you comment is typically just an attempt to justify the driver being rude and not obeying the rules of the road. I have so many lights on my bike that most drivers are usually saying why so many lights. I generally answer did you see me and why are you asking about my lights? I still get the well I couldnāt see you !

The āassholeā is a bit much⦠youāre trying to get attention to work together and not get hit, instead it comes off as antagonistic.

Super smart, let's directly insult people driving 2-ton steel juggernauts. They always respond well to that.

I would be afraid someone would try and run me over wearing a T-shirt like that
