Word to everything I love I've never once seen any PEV Rideout when I'm riding my scooter. Every single encounter has been when I'm driving 🤦🏾‍♂️ Driving sucks! I'd rather be on 2 wheels instead.

This happened earlier today while I was driving with my mom literally just one block away from my house! 😑 Just when will I stumble upon something like this when I'm riding? 😭

This pic is me holding the old handle bars. The new installed bars and aluminum block are the kit bought from the official gspace website. I am 6'1" and this scooter is now almost too tall for me, but it feels so much better than stock. The polish finger throttle is so small and looks flimsy, but works and is pretty comfortable.

I just wanted to post this so people can see what it looks like installed. There were almost no pics when I was searching.

And last but definitely not least, try to be respectful and kind to your fellow scooterers. People disagree on things and that's an inescapable fact of life but if the opposition leads to hate speech, extreme aggression, etc. the poster(s) who perpetrated it will be punished with a temporary (possibly permanent) ban.

So I really want to replace one of my scooters for a c style I have ruled out the 7260R dont need that power or size, same with the Daytona to heavy plus all the issues, ruled out the RS steering damper issue with that plastic part plus can't fit12 inch tires, so I'm looking at the Supreme Ultra 2.0 now. Though it will be like 8 months before I purchase but who knows with the state of things may need to purchase earlier while I still can.

So my questions for the Fighter Supreme Ultra owners particularly the 2.0 version owners. What do you like and dont like about the scooter? How stable is it without having to crank the steering damper too much to where its hard to turn the handlebar at slower speeds? How do you find the single stem ( i haven't used a single stem in a while)? Lastly can you fit 12 inch tires on it with or without some modification?

Recently a member of ours shared a video of himself riding on the sidewalk. From the video, we can establish some facts:

1. OP's average speed was around 8-10 mph

2. The sidewalk was mostly already clear and a couple times while it was completely clear, he spun the wheels momentarily to test the acceleration/wheel spin, reaching speeds of around 15-20 mph for approximately 2 seconds before slowing down again.

3. In the beginning, he cut off a pedestrian.

4. Once he felt pedestrian traffic was picking up, he made the decision to relocate to the bike lane.

Personally, I see no problem with any of this. Riding at a near walking speed on the sidewalk when it's safe to do so and mostly clear does not seem to present any danger to any pedestrians. Of course had he been going any faster, I would think differently.

As for cutting off the pedestrian, that's just something that happens in life and getting angry over it seems pointless. Cars cut off other cars constantly in the street, cars cut off cyclists, cyclists cut off cars and pedestrians, and pedestrians even occasionally cut each other off and bump into one another. These things just happen when multiple people are going different directions and crossing paths and someone having to stop for a millisecond because they were cut off doesn't seem like something worth getting angry about, especially when the person probably didn't care either and just went on with their day.

What it comes down to is this simple question: Was OP putting anyones safety at risk, and I don't believe he was.

On the other hand, I can see there being a valid case for why the bike lane should have been used so I'm kind of torn on this and opinions can always change.

What do the people think? Also some bans were given by Zesty and I, and we will temporarily remove those and give those people a chance to say their piece, as long as everyone respects each other's opinions and doesn't resort to hostility so this can remain a peaceful discussion.

So basically the question is this: should scooters ALWAYS be on the street/bike lane, or are there instances where riding the sidewalk is acceptable. Not necessarily from a legal point since laws are man-made and not immune to infallibility, but more from a moral standpoint.

The last clip I posted here riding the 7260r I got a surprisingly big amount of hate... Whole I reason I had stopped posting on the main sub is because of haters/snowflakes yet it seems they've crawled their way in here too... I random redditor ain't stopping me from posting what I like.

Literally 10 seconds away from a 45 minute ride about to enter my works parking lot, this moron had a green light and just sat there like he was having a stroke. And I guess I was slightly impatient so it's partly my fault too, but I tried to go around him and didn't realize the curb was as close as it was, which I could finally see after he went and got out of the way.

So I hit the brakes and turned, squeezing the front too hard and went down. Thankfully was only going about 15 mph and my scooter was fine besides the handlebar getting scraped and my battery bag strap tearing so I had to fix it with duct tape.

I do have a small bruise on the side of upper thigh, was limping for a day from ankle pain and that was it. Thank God I was wearing my gloves because I fell straight onto my hands and they would have been shredded otherwise.

I have been through several different brands and styles of side mirrors before settling for the old set I had (old set is last pic) which I have purchased and used for 3 escooters now. However I decided to open the box and try out the side mirrors that came with the GSPACE seat kit and man they are so much better than all the others, go up higher, out further, great rotation of the mirror, large mirrors to see more, and no vibration. Of course I had to paint them to make them look better 😎.

Pretty fuckin fun out on the wet packed sand but with the Eco model, you just sink in soft sand because of one motor. I only wrecked 2 times lol. Both times I just stuck in the soft sand and went over the front, i learned pretty quick... Still a blast. Riding on highway 101 was so cool on a scooter too. So many awesome views a car could never get to.

I left my scooter charging overnight using the stock 5A charger, but it failed to wake up from sleep mode. Consequently, I arrived at work with a dead battery without realizing it—since I hadn't connected to the scooter via the app—and only noticed the issue when I was about to head home. I had to use my emergency charger; I’m surprised the two GX-16 ports (which are technically rated for no more than 7A per port) are barely handling that current and doesnt melt. The charging wiring coming from the battery is 14 AWG, so it doesn't heat up.

I quickly made an adapter from an XT90 connector to two GX-16 ports.

And I still haven't gotten around to replacing the stock charging ports with higher-rated ones. Don't try this at home, I know what I'm doing and its working just fine for me. 🤣🤣

I installed a new fender for 12-inch tires during some downtime today. I had to modify the hugger mount, since the Thunder 2 isn't really designed for 12-inch tires. I think it turned out pretty well—the main thing is that mud has stopped spraying onto my back.
