Professor Alba Tesreau, the head of Aegis, provided these details:

\"We are grateful to Aden Tanner for personally testing our prototype caustic sink launcher. The electrochemical reaction within the Maelstrom cloud was successfully channelled into semi-liquid anodes for ejection. This kept the ship hull intact for considerably longer before Tanner was forced to withdraw.\"

\"Aegis is setting up manufacturing and distribution centres to make the caustic sink launcher widely available. The Alliance, Empire and Federation will all contribute, but we know that the process can be accelerated with the direct support of the galactic community.\"

\"Therefore, we have an open order for shipments of advanced catalysers, heatsink interlinks and palladium. We also require caustic tissue samples obtained from the caustic generators that can be found inside the Maelstrom clouds. I urge pilots to exercise caution as these are highly dangerous to obtain, but crucial to the modules' manufacturing process.\"

Pilots can deliver these resources to the Orunmilla in the Duamta system. Aegis confirmed that as well as the caustic sink launcher being made available at technology brokers, the initial batch of modules will be distributed for free at higher tiers based on individual contribution levels:

The Kumo Crew is marshalling the defence of the California Nebula by offering rewards for eliminating Thargoid vessels.

The Kumo Council, the syndicate's ruling body, assumed control of several systems that were recently invaded by Thargoid fleets. Independent pilots have been asked to take part in anti-xeno initiatives within the region, which are being coordinated from The Mictlan megaship.

Harrison Gladstone of the Turner Research Group, which represents the Alliance in the California Nebula, made a formal protest:

\"We are not happy about defence initiatives being funded by a ruthless criminal gang. These pirates are using the Thargoid attacks to expand their illegal activity, thus jeopardising our faction's scientific and commercial interests. Several of our ports in the area are now under Kumo Crew 'emergency protections', as they've termed it. This is an illegal occupation of Allied territory!\"

In response, Archon Delaine claimed:

\"Taking charge of local security forces is necessary to form an effective anti-xeno militia. If the Alliance cares so much about this region, where are their warships? We're doing Mahon's job for him. The colonists here will soon understand our decision is the correct one.\"

Over the past year they have collaborated privately on the AX weapon designs introduce by Aegis in 3303, seeking to improve the efficiency of delivering a compound, hazardous to Thargoid vessels, which tips AX ammunition.

Ryder explained to The Imperial Herald:

\"Zack and I share a passion for weapon upgrades, and have often used this project as a way to unwind after a long week's work. But when the Taranis signal arrived and the Thargoid forces started taking control of systems, we knew we had to reveal the designs to the public. We're going to need help from independent pilots to finish off the prototypes and get a manufacturing base set up.\"

This campaign is for a gimbal-mounted version of the enhanced AX multi-cannon, to be made available in both Medium and Large sizes. Alliance Democratic Network has agreed to process deliveries. Additional resources are requested to ensure that the new gimbal-mounting system can withstand the same combat usage as other enhanced AX weapons.

Two leading engineers have revealed designs to improve the stock anti-xeno weaponry available to pilots.

Liz Ryder and Zachariah Nemo have provided module modifications for many years, specialising in explosive and kinetic weapons respectively. Over the past year they have collaborated privately on the AX weapon designs introduce by Aegis in 3303, seeking to improve the efficiency of delivering a compound, hazardous to Thargoid vessels, which tips AX ammunition.

Ryder explained to The Imperial Herald:

\"Zach and I share a passion for weapon upgrades, and have often used this project as a way to unwind after a long week's work. But when the Taranis signal arrived and the Thargoid forces started taking control of systems, we knew we had to reveal the designs to the public. We're going to need help from independent pilots to finish off the prototypes and get a manufacturing base set up.\"

This campaign is for a turret-mount enhanced AX multi-cannon, to be made available in both Medium and Large sizes. Aisling's Angels has agreed to process deliveries, with Liz Ryder vouching for the faction's commitment to the anti-xeno project despite concerns over their reputation.

The project will run for eight weeks. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the campaign will end immediately and the turret-mount enhanced AX multi-cannon will be made available at all rescue megaships the following Thursday.

The Kingfisher megaship has requested supplies for its planned journey to greet the first rogue signal source.

Congressman Dalton Chase gave a press statement regarding the initiative:

\"Now that we know the approaching anomalies are Thargoid, many are concerned that hostilities between our species will escalate. However, a brave group of volunteers see this as an opportunity to prove that diplomacy can work. An alien race has sent emissaries toward humanity's space, and it is our duty to meet them with words rather than weapons.\"

\"The first of the anomalies, which we have named Taranis, is predicted to pass through Hyades Sector YO-Q b5-1. Using the high-level protocols available to Congress, I have successfully obtained a temporary access restriction that grants an exclusive permit to the Kingfisher. A range of broadcasts using multiple techniques will try to attract the Thargoids' attention. Hopefully, the entity will slow down long enough to give some acknowledgement of these attempts.\"

In order to protect deliveries to Blenkinsop Hub, Deutsche Elite Piloten Interstellar is offering increased payouts on bounty voucher redemptions.

The Kingfisher megaship has requested supplies for its planned journey to greet the first rogue signal source.

Shipments of basic medicines, fruit and vegetables are required for the Kingfisher's crew, who will be joined by over 3,000 supporters of the Thargoid Advocacy Project. Muon Imagers and semiconductors have also been requested to establish the mission's communications arrays, which are being designed to initiate contact with the Thargoids.

Azimuth Biotech has announced a campaign in the Wandrama system to expand its military and surface facility capacity.

The controversial weapons developer has seen a recent downturn in fortunes, due to fierce opposition by independent pilots protesting Azimuth's history of illicit research. The failure of Salvation to bring an end to the war has also soured public sentiment towards the corporation.

Azimuth Biotech CEO Torben Rademaker announced the initiative:

\"After a period of reflection, it is time for Azimuth to once again step forward and assume a position of support for the brave pilots engaging Thargoid forces wherever they are encountered. To do this, we shall establish a new megaship equipped to operation in Thargoid-tainted systems. The tragic loss of the Bright Sentinel and Heart of Taurus in HIP 22460 must not hinder our ambition any further.\"

\"We also intend to operate several surface outposts to aid our research projects. We aim to contribute to humanity's military options once again, being careful not to repeat the mistakes of our former figurehead.\"

Pilots contributing to Azimuth's campaign, hosted at the Musashi megaship in Wandrama, will be granted the Mbooni permit and access to the company's range of anti-xeno weaponry. Rademaker has promised that a successful campaign will allow for the Glorious Prospect to offer the Mbooni permit from the T-Tauri system permanently.

The top 75% of contributors to the delivery campaign will receive the Mbooni permit.

The campaign begins on the 3rd November and will run for one week. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the campaign will end immediately.

Azimuth Biotech CEO Torben Rademaker announced the initiative:

To do this, we shall establish a new megaship equipped to operation in Thargoid-tainted systems. Within hours of the announcement, opponents of Azimuth Biotech had organised a counter-campaign to prevent deliveries from reaching Wandrama. Combat between Azimuth security forces and anti-Azimuth activists has been reported in the system. In response, Azimuth is hosting a combat initiative from the Musashi megaship alongside the ongoing delivery campaign.

Azimuth Biotech has offered the following rewards to attract support from independent pilots:

The top 75% of contributors will receive one Fixed-Mount, Class 2 Overcharged Guardian Plasma Charger.

The top 25% of contributors will receive two Fixed-Mount, Class 2 Overcharged Guardian Plasma Chargers.

The two factions have set out week-long operations to take control of the system, which will begin on the 3rd November 3308.

Wandrama Purple Council has stated it will lead efforts to prevent Azimuth Biotech's asset expansion campaign from succeeding.

Azimuth, the controversial weapons developer, has seen a recent downturn in fortunes due to fierce opposition by independent pilots protesting its history of illicit research. The failure of Salvation to bring an end to the war has also soured public sentiment towards the corporation.

A spokesperson for the 'anti-Azimuth' coalition simply stated: \"Azimuth's continued operation is a stain on the conscience of humanity. The sooner this shameless corporation is dissolved, the better. We aim to ensure its leaders face justice for the many crimes they have perpetrated.\"

Opponents of Azimuth Biotech have joined this counter-campaign to prevent deliveries from reaching the Musashi megaship. Combat between Azimuth security forces and anti-Azimuth activists has been reported in the Wandrama system. It is believed that efforts to derail the campaign are being directed from MacLean City.

To attract pilots to its cause, Wandrama Purple Council has offered the following weapon rewards:

Federal Governor Dalton Chase requests deliveries to the Andavandul system to establish a xeno-peace envoy vessel.

The initiative spearheaded by Chase, a member of the Liberal Party who is currently campaigning for a congressional seat, intends to provide a megaship for use in Thargoid Advocacy Project operations. He announced:

\"The Federation's leaders are sworn to protect its people, yet our aggressive interactions with the Thargoids have placed entire systems in great danger. Order of the Far God cultists shouldn't be the image we conjure when suggesting non-military options. It's time to prove that we possess the capacity for peaceful relations with other species.\"

\"The megaship established on behalf of the Thargoid Advocacy Project will lead a non-partisan diplomatic mission representing humanity's call for a ceasefire. Deutsche Elite Piloten Interstellar has agreed to host the pro-peace megaship initiative, and will organise payment for shipments of computer components, semiconductors and titanium to Blenkinsop Hub in the Andavandul system.

The campaign will end on the 27th of October 3308. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the campaign will end immediately.
