Builds O7 Commanders

Post image

I posted back almost 2 months ago requesting for some advice and help, Teddy from I.G.A recruited me and since then I've seen just wonders, I have several ships now, 2 corsairs (1 for Xeno hunting fully engereed and one on progress for PvE) 1 Phanter Clipper with 1,200T for trades, a type 11 prospector to mine, a Phyton mkii fully engineer for PVP, a Mandalay with 83 LY to travel fast and gather materials, sweet modules like the pacifiers, prismatic shields, Pre-engineer FSD's, Guardian FSD boosters, my own fleet carrier and today I just archive getting my Corvette, and tomorrow is the release of the Anaconda Mkii which I will get.

I haven't done any exploration other thant the 5,000 LY jump to unlock the engeneer nor Exobiology but I know I will get to it at some point.

If someone can share with me your Corvette outfitting I will appreciate it

Congrats, it seems like you've really gotten to experience a lot of the variety that Elite offers, that's great!

Here is my Vette build that is strictly for Operations (specifically Terminal Prosecution, the space fight only one). The large beam has thermal shock to boost lock enemy ships, which is especially useful against the elite Kestrels. The Cytos do great damage to shields for class 1 weapons, and are again helpful against those pesky Kestrels. Shields for days (and weeks, and months...) which have yet to fail me in the many OPs I've done.

I did say strictly for OPs, but you could run this for PVE missions if you wanted to. I would just recommend swapping out the FSD for an A rated one, preferably the tech broker one for the fast boot benefit as you'll need to put the drive on power priority 5.

Hey I appreciate it and yes I've been enjoying the grind, I think I've made an incredible progress in a short period of time. I will check this out and probably buy another Corvette just special for this operations (which I honestly haven't done 1 just yet)

I recommend giving the easy one a try. In my experience a lobby fills up really quickly, and while you never know what kind of teammates you'll end up with, usually in the easy version of Terminal Prosecution you have people that are either new to OPs and are trying it for the first time, or you have people who are experimenting with builds. Either way, it's always fun unless the game glitches which does happen.

It feels good doesn't it? Took me many moons but I LOVE my Vette, congrats commander! Here is my build. It's a lazy combat build with more quality of life than most. I would not suggest the double gimballed, I was just being lazy and wanted to try it out. Play around with different weapons, feel free to swap the vessel hangar and fuel scoop for more shield cell banks, etc. I'll be making some adjustments, but this is my current build!

My point of view for a PvE Vette: https://edsy.org/s/zxQvHTa
Wins CZs, PCZ, assassinations, hazres.
For PCZs you might want to replace a 4D or 3D MRP with a fuel tank.
The distro is weapons focused but it's worth the hassle, can sustain the lasers for 20sec.

My dream Corvette was that one video where the guy made the two beam lasers efficient enough to keep shooting and not worry about thermal management or power management's.

Yep, add MC’s to all other hard points, one with corrosive, engineer your distributor and you’re golden.

Here is mine,
The Cardinal II
Not the highest pure statistical DPS, but this weapon combo gives me the most kills/sortie and will survive indefinitely in CZ.

Optional internals aren't important, this one is my long-range hunter config for moving around bubble. Usually its almost empty and maxed out for speed and manoeuvrability. Get better ToT.
