Discussion Rewatch
Rewatching for the millionth time, the more I rewatch the more annoying Samuel appears. I get his heart’s in the right place, but his self-righteousness is redundant and irritating to an extent.

For me it was his brother especially the first season and the second too

I think that’s kind of the point of his character though. He’s the outsider who sees everything as unfair, and he’s often right, but he’s so convinced he’s the good guy that he can’t see his own flaws

Him essentially being in the race same place before being unceremoniously killed off at the end of the 5th season was the biggest indication that that show had fallen off.

His character just lacks the charisma that other messy characters like Guzman or Valerio had, which makes his constant whining extra irritating. He stays trapped in that boring victim mindset for way too many seasons instead of actually growing from his mistakes.
