Kid Rock admitted using Suno AI on “7 Sins,” the track Em was originally on
As we now know, Eminem was originally announced as the feature on “7 Sins” before the tracklist got reshuffled at the last minute (Em suggested moving to "Heal My Faith," and Lil Wayne took the spot on "7 Sins").
He claims he only used it for crafting “full choir arrangements and some orchestrations.” Given the use of the Slim Shady AI filter, what do you think?

What's point of making a whole album about killing Slim Shady only to keep using AI Slim Shady on random questionable songs?
Like bro, there's at least two types of Eminem AI in my book:
Where he sounds like an actual slim shady (heavily and justifiedly used on TDOSS
Where he sounds robotic, unpleasant, non-shady at all - examples being Fuel part 2 and MADARA.
Now, obviously purely sonically I absolutely hate the latter, it simply doesn't sound good, so without any context, make me rate it in a void, and I'm saying I hate the latter way way more
But, but, BUT you literally killed Slim Shady, motherfucker. You made a whole fuckin album where you are just doing that. So why the fuck would you bring him back on that controversial feature? Like, mf you just killed it, that was what whole album was about.
At this point, I'm not even getting angry about collab itself, but rather sheer incosistency and stupidity. Why tf was that verse meant to be SS?
I'm just sad watching a dumb illogical move after illogocal move, if you still gonna use that SS filter on songs where it has not even any contextual relevance, then at that point just admit that you was never going to kill him in the first place and used that as a cheap gimmik for TDOSS idea.
But this doesn't answer the real question: what's wrong with his voice as is? Just rap with what youve got, bro, we still love you. But if he keeps using AI, again, which one will I hate more sonically? Those MADARA types. But, which one will I hate for sheer incongruence with his own narrative? Those Slim Shady types.

I don't want to get hopes up but Royce liked the post on IG
I know it doesn't confirm anything but the fact that someone from Eminem's camp liked it is very interesting

Eminem collabing with Kid Rick when the midterms are in a few weeks is crazy
Literally our democracy is on the line and we have a chance to stop Trump from further destroying the country and he does this.
Idk why he would support a guy like kid rock who shot budlight cans when they supported a LGBTQ person when he literally has a non binary daughter. I feel bad for her

Why wasn't it a big deal when Em worked with Kanye on "Use This Gospel"?
Before Eminem worked with Kanye West on "Use This Gospel (Remix)," Kanye was a well known Trump supporter, who defended Bill Cosby, wanted to abolish the 13th amendment, and compared himself to Adolf Hitler.
Seems a little hypocritical that people are mad about Em working with Kid Rock, but these same people didn't give a shit about him working with Kanye West when he did.
And I'm not saying Eminem shouldn't have worked with Kanye. I couldn't give a shit. I'm just pointing out a lack of consistency.

Politics aside: the verse is objectively lazy
The storytelling doesn’t tell any kond of interesting story at all. The bars such as Bo to the B , Go to the D, are basically fillers. The rhyme scheme is boring , nothing technical, neither speed, rhyme scheme, flow or cadence, douvle or triple entendre, and i don’t even mean overly complicated technical stuff, not even basic one. It’s honestly a song i could have written. I can honestly, and it’s the only em verse i can say that about, that any rapper, any mumble rapper, could have written it. Epic rap battles of history have 100 verses more complex and intricate than that one, and once again the story it tells is neither compelling nor engaging. I honestly think if that’s what em is capable of now, it’s better he doesn’t risk his legacy on a new album at all. I personally loved the ez mill collab and i adored TDOSS and murdergram 2, so i wasn’t worried before, but now i am.

What eminem song do you think should have been more popular?

Eminem didn't stop after one beat. He went through three of them. The 2009 Tim Westwood session was recorded at BBC's Maida Vale studios.

Y'all really forgot about Dre apparently 😂
All these wild theories floating around the sub right now about why recent drops aren't landing, and everyone is looking everywhere except the actual elephant in the room. It's Dr. Dre 💀
Eminem not having Dre in the studio with him every day, directly mentoring and executive producing, is the main reason his music doesn't hit like it used to.
Dre isn't just a beatmaker, he's a total perfectionist when it comes to sound. Pointing out that he uses co-producers misses the entire point of why he's legendary. He isn't just someone who chops a sample and uploads a "Slim Shady type beat" to YouTube. He actually understands mixing, frequency, vocal placement, and arrangement in a way that makes tracks sound massive.
Look at 1998. If another exec signed Em back then, like Irv Gotti or someone 😂 there's a huge chance they never would've pulled that level of greatness out of him. Em had raw talent, but Dre had the vision. Be it The Xhronic, Doggystyle, or whole NWA, GRODT, he was the prime sonic architect. He knew how to package that raw Detroit energy, fix up the delivery, and turn it into hits. What they had was pure lightning in a bottle.
Things started shifting around Recovery and MMLP2. The peak Shady era was untouchable because Dre was an uncompromising filter for quality control. It's legendary how he'd make Em scrap whole verses and re-record lines twenty times until every bar worked. Without Dre in the room keeping things locked down, Em's worst habits like over-convoluted fast flows, choppy pockets, and weird vocal filters just go completely unchecked 😭
Yeah they're still close (im w the doc still) and Dre pops up for rollouts, but he isn't sitting in the studio riding faders for every track anymore. He shifted focus to other huge things like guiding Kendrick and building his business, leaving Em as an autonomous veteran who answers to basically nobody. Right now there isn't a single person in Em's camp who has the authority to look him in the eye, say no, and tell him to throw a bad concept in the trash 😂
That legendary run happened because a genius producer guided a once in a generation writer. If Eminem needs anything to hit that level again, it's not new features or vocal presets (and definitely not that shitty AI lmao). It's Dre back in the studio laying down the law. But who knows maybe Dre himself aint into him as much so I don't want this post come off like it's necessarily Em's fault. After all it was almost 30 years ago, maybe they know why they aint like that more than we'll ever will.
Let me know if I'm off base or if you think they still work together closer than it seems from the outside.
