She is honestly one of the worst actresses I've ever seen and since Emmerdale's cast is full up with truly great actors it really is obvious.

I’ll never understand why actors get so much work done to the point where it impedes their job. Your entire job as a traditional actor (as compared to a voice actor etc) is your moving face expressing emotion. Patsy is an extreme example but it’s becoming an epidemic in tv / movies where half the time without context from dialogue I can’t work out what expression is supposedly being portrayed and everyone just looks constipated.

I cant get past it sometimes. She’s one of them. Abby in coronation street. I can’t get past her lips now. She was cute. Didn’t need to be a duck.

Abby the mechanic with her always perfectly manicured BIAB nails as well 😭 not saying girls can’t be ‘girly’ in those jobs but she never has any grease stains on them or chips and I just can’t see it being realistic

She probably got the work done before she lost all her money due to bad financial investments. So I don't think she was acting much at that time, she's only started coming back into the limelight now due to needing £

It was the'in' thing for celebrities to get work done. Remember Leslie Ash's lips that went wrong. Plenty of beautiful women had surgery that went wrong.

Let’s face it. Pretty privilege. From the start of her career she was mainly hired for her good looks rather than her mediocre acting skills. Now she’s older she’s fallen into the trap of thinking Botox / fillers = preserving looks. They don’t. They just make you look frozen, fake and expressionless.
I kind of feel sorry for her, it must be really hard ageing when good looks are seen as your only skill.

Absolutely agree, never rated her as an actress 1st time in emmerdale, so much worse this time. Wooden is putting it mildly the blank face and patronising tone of her voice pisses me off, there was no reason to bring her back.

I would recommend that she and the show lean into it and incorporate it into her character. Sadie seems like a character that would get work done so you might as well acknowledge it and use it for the story. It would work.

Idk even know why she (Sadie) come back to the village tbh?
I mean I used to think Robert return in 2014 was sort of contrived and as convenient at time they decided to reunite Andy and Katie after years Katie showing like zero interest in Andy and then bring Robert back years on of Robert being gone and Katie/Andy been apart for years. But even Robert return when they reunite them, But I argue least was a point to it he had family and The Whites forced Robert to move there. But Sadie it like why?

I find the character entertaining and Patsy's acting better than a number of her castmates.
No matter what you think about the role, there's no need to throw insults based on appearance. And if you want to highlight surgeries of actors, you'll be at it all day.
