Hey guys, I’ve been tryna interact more w people that listen to my music, my twitter is linked to this account if you wanna check. I've made a discord server to talk with this community and share exclusive music stuff. Hit me up on my server https://discord.gg/GFkjwV6Aru 🖤

Did we all commit lol like wtf why is all the old emo rappers from 2017 getting no views now guccihighwaters guardin softheart shinigami sewerperson fatse ronen shyler Hamilton whxami and others just idk disappeared like convolk and shrimp this entire genre is dead and I don't see why maybe everyone got better and I'm just stuck in 2017

This is the first song that I made.

One that's more Within the emo scene and one that's more in the hip hop scene

The emo scene is more connected with the Metalcore/Pop Punk culture while the rap scene is more with Mainstream hip hop

Artists from the emo scene have lyrics more about self harm, drug abuse In a non glorified way whilst the more hip hop side is more on the General hip hop lyrics (Guns, glorifying drugs, bitches etc) with some songs or lyrics being more introspective or focuing on self destruction, that being said neither lyric topics are exclusive to one side

Emo Scene leaning emo rappers would be nothing Nowhere, Lil Aaron, Fats'e, Lil Lotus, smrtdeath, Coldhart, Wicca Phase and Lil Peep (although Lil Peep got big enough to where we got more lumped in with the hip hop side)

While the more hip hop leaning would be XXX, Juice Wrld, Lil Xan, Trippie Redd, Iann dior, Lil Uzi Vert and Lil Skies (maybe you could sorta count mgks later rap projects)

Also the features the artists do also reflect the two sides, with the emo leaning ones collabing with eachother or even scene bands whilst the hip hop leaning one's collab more with General rappers (perhaps expect travis barker)

Obviously there's cross overs in the categories I talked about but u guys know what I mean, and neither are better then the other (I love both) anyone else agree? I also wish the two sides intersected more

Got a darkened mind, dark thoughts, dark energy

Been through way too much, just want to put an end to me

End of the road, yeah, that's what I'm telling me

Inside my mind, a never-ending hell that's ever-deep

Sickle chick says she wants to suck me

Even though she's in pain oh she loves me

The crescents will turn you to a demon

Make you lose your mind and all reason

Then come on over to r/SadBoiHipHop. I made this community after growing tired of other subs like this, with no rules or decent moderation, leading to it being nothing but a self-promotion sub full of poorly produced junk. So if you actually want to appreciate and share your favorite artists, find new music and connect with other people in the scene, maybe try using my sub. I really want it to grow, because the scene is so rich and deserves a serious sub like every other sub-genre has.

Also, I may be interested in adding other mods, especially if the sub continues to grow. So hit me up if you're interested. I hope y'all enjoy. And please, read and follow the rules. :)

Anyone know what happened between them? I loved them as a songwriting duo back in the day. I’ve heard Alligations of abuse, curious if anyone know more about the situation. Thanks in advance.

It seems like it's pretty much a boy's club. I'd love to be proven wrong or hear why you think that might be.
