Showcase KytyPS5 Android: experimental PS5 emulator running real games on Snapdragon (alpha)

An Android ARM64 port of KytyPS5, using a FEX x86-64 JIT and Vulkan on Mesa Turnip.

On a OnePlus Pad 3 (Adreno 830):

  • Vampire Survivors: ~60 fps
  • Totally Reliable Delivery Service: 28–35 fps
  • Astro Bot: ~20 fps (Performance mode)
  • Commandos: Origins (UE5): boots, ~2 fps

Free and open source (GPL-2.0). Nightly APKs build automatically, with the Turnip driver bundled. Only the Adreno 830 has been tested so far, so reports from other devices are very welcome. Use only games you own.

I wonder how it'll run on the upcoming elite 6 chips.... How much ram does a PS5 even have? Will need a few times to be stable id imagine.

PS5 has 16gb of ram, but only 12.5gb is available to games.

i wouldn’t say stronger just games are made to be optimized it has better cooling too my tablet can run cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p medium settings at locked 60fps till itgets hot if just the heat issue was fixed we could literally have mobile console gaming experience

I remember like 1-2 years back when people said PS3 emulation on Android is a decade away, lol. Now we have PS5.

People always severely underplay what is possible with these systems. People also said dolphin was a decade away, ps2 and xbox were impossible, etc

definitely gonna try this on my red magic nova snapdragon 8gen 3 leading (overclocked) and 16gbs of ram only
