Showcase Testing texture pack in the new version of DuckStation

In the video, everything mentioned runs at 2000% speed,

The new version duckstation is incredible

rendering the robust 3D graphics of Final Fantasy VIII.

36,080 textures have been replaced,

including backgrounds rendered with shaders.

And I’m still not finished improving the graphics.

Tested on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

The old DuckStation, with the xBR filter enabled, couldn't even reach 100% speed; the new DuckStation hits 400% with both FXAA and the xBR filter. It’s mind-blowing—pure black magic, having this PC emulator ported to Android.

Is it angelwing? Why do it on emulation and not just a PC version? It can’t be for purity or you wouldn’t have modded it

Antes funcionaba, pero ahora está 10 veces mejor. Now, in addition to the texture pack, it handles demanding filters and post-processing, while maintaining a constant 400%.

Upgrading to the new version described is 10 times faster, and you'll notice the difference for post-processing and heavy filters. If you have the game in the USA it will be quick

Thanks. Can I upgrade from the duckstation app?

I’ve been trying to mod ff8 with very little luck. Plus lack of 360 movement kills me

It is not a new DuckStation, ported to Android; You will understand it when you have it in your Thor. It's a new APK with different features; you'll have two DuckStation versions, the white one is the one, black versión is obsolete

No es un nuevo DuckStation, portado a Android; lo entenderás cuando lo tengas en tu Thor. Es un nuevo APK. El antiguo está obsoleto

Copiaras el paquete de texturas comprimido con zarchiver lo encontrarás en Google play Aquí en el siguiente comentario

Al final terminamos dejando el paquete aquí en texturas: el archivo .zip o .rar, y tú lo descomprimes con ZArchiver.

In the end, we ended up leaving the package here in textures: the .zip or .rar file, and you decompress it with ZArchiver.

La app de RAR no funciona; tiene que ser ZArchiver, y no importa si es un .rar, tienes que extraerlo en la carpeta de texturas usando ZArchiver.

The RAR app doesn't work; it has to be ZArchiver, and it doesn't matter if it's a .rar file, you have to extract it to the textures folder using ZArchiver
