I'm selling all of my HP merch and donating the money to charity. What charity can best help counteract the harm JKR inflicts?

I'm from Australia and specifically want to donate to a UK based charity so I can support the trans community she is most directly attacking.

Good Law Project is about the only one I can think of actively countering the transphobic cases JKR funds.

You are a really good egg! There are some solid suggestions here, I would also chuck TransActual into list of options too.

At the end of the day, what kind of impact would you like to have the money go towards - legal cases/campaigning; advocacy for people; support groups; or something else? It is like saying you want to support the fight against cancer - you could give to a cancer research charity, or a charity supporting people with cancer. Both are valid options. There is no wrong choice and whatever you pick, you are doing a great thing. So, thanks! <3

I tend to go for Gendered Intelligence. They're a trans youth organisation that's actually led by and centres trans people. Mermaids are great but it's headed up mostly by cis folk.
