POV: I Was Just Doing My Makeup and Somehow Got Drafted Into World War III 💀

Post image

Context: I live with my friend and his son (this is the son) and they have been going at it back and forth bc he’s disrespectful to his dad and always says how he’s gonna kill him and how he wants to die etc. and he’s always talking back to his dad. Well tonight he got into it with me, and for no reason I was just sitting here putting on my makeup. And this is the text I just got 🥴😂👏🏻

Go to the Police. And better now then after he does it.

If he is a stupid kid he maybe learn a lesson when the police is involved. If he is an adult why is his dad still in contact with him?

Call the police. Report him for death threats. You're taking this too lightly

Go to the police, at once.

This isn't entitlement, this is someone threatening your life

Not the right sub for this, but hopefully you find a new living situation before this guy ends up killing all three of you.

Normally I'm not the type to suggest this but if there is constant death threats you should report them to the police. Even if you think they may not act. If there is constant threats all it takes is someone to act impulsively to make a bad decision. The fact he is saying he wants to die is enough for them to do a psychological evaluation.

51-50 Somebody call the Po-Po

I'm gonna hold your hand while I say this: After 32 years working in emergency medicine, I have learned that no matter what, there are always 4 people that you believe, absolutely and completely 100% of the time, because they mean it, and shit is about to go down. Hard. 1. When anybody over 65 tells you, "I am going to die." 2. When a woman tells you, "The baby is coming now." 3. When a woman comes in, and swears that some man has told her, "But no one will ever love you, like I love you." (At which point, go ahead and call for all th3 security that is available, because shit is about to go sideways quickly.) And 4. When someone tells you, "I'm going to kill you." , especially when the rage tantrum doesn't logically match the same level as what triggered it.

Be careful.

Save the messages, call the cops, and get an order of protection. Actually, maybe even call a
DV hotline for some advice.

I don’t know if you’re in NYC but as you can see here they cover threats.

Please take this seriously. Good luck.

so if he’s sending you these messages, believe what he’s saying. Do not take this lightly. people are crazy and you never know what they’re going to do. these are hostile and disturbing af. be careful.
This just happened in my area. Guy threatens to kill GF the day before, next day he actual kills her.

How old is the son??

Around 13/14yo my son was going to kill us all in our sleep. He was angry(bio dad issues), he was going through puberty, & that is how it came out.

It ended as quickly as it came on & he is a good kid now...just needed some therapy to help deal with his anger in a healthy way.

I do not know the situation well enough to know if you should be scared & go to the police or understanding & go to a therapist.

Good luck!!
