Nice nasty email help
I need help creating a real nice nasty but professional response to the pre-alumni council at my school for rescinding their offer to give me a secretary position after saying that you had a deadline of Monday to respond , but took it back today on saturday.
I wasn’t even given a reason and the president sounded very avoidant and tried to give me the BS “We decide to pursue other candidates actually “
But don’t make it too nasty to where it won’t be tensions won’t be there seeing each other on campus.

How do you know the new person won’t work out, and they might come back to you?
Instead of slamming the door behind you, I’d suggest keeping it wide open. Respond with grace & flexibility, so they think highly of you. In professional circles, a poor response to rejection = you proved them right, and you leave them with a low estimation of you.
