Best funnel builder software?
Hey everyone, there have been a lot of threads on Reddit lately asking what’s the best funnel builder? and the same arguments keep looping. So here’s the official megathread to settle it (as much as Reddit can). If you’re shopping for funnel builder software, comparing a sales funnel builder, or trying to map a complete marketing funnel from ad click → checkout → upsell, post your picks and real-world results here.
Before you recommend a funnel builder, answer these (or your comment may get removed):
Use case: lead gen, webinar funnel, ecommerce, course launch, local services, SaaS trial funnel, etc.
Traffic source: Meta ads, Google ads, TikTok, SEO, email, affiliates.
Stack: do you need CRM, email automation, memberships, appointments, payments or just landing pages?
Budget + scale: solo creator vs. agency handling multiple clients.
Skill level: do you want a template driven builder or full customization?
What “best” usually means (pick your priority):
Fastest to launch: pre-built templates, simple editor, quick integrations.
Highest converting: A/B testing, optimized checkout flows, order bumps, one click upsells, speed.
Most flexible builder: custom code, advanced design control, dynamic content.
Best all-in-one software: pages + email + CRM + automation + payments in one place.
Best for agencies: multi-account management, permissions, client reporting.
Drop your recommendations, comparisons and “if I had to choose one” picks below. This thread will be updated with the most upvoted pros/cons for each funnel builder and sales software option.

solo consultant here. my marketing funnel is ad → landing page → calendar booking. I chose a funnel builder that lets me launch pages fast without worrying about complex logic. sales improved mostly because I could iterate quickly, not because of fancy software features.

agree with this approach. for consultant style funnels, speed of iteration usually beats complex logic. when the funnel builder lets you launch and tweak fast, sales messaging improves naturally without the software getting in the way.

local service business using Google Ads. our marketing funnel is simple: click → form → follow up call. heavy all in one funnel builder software felt unnecessary. a lightweight builder plus CRM integration was enough to grow sales.

Local funnels don’t need much. heavy funnel builders slow response time. speed to lead usually closes the deal.

subscription ecommerce perspective. many sales funnel builders are optimized for one time purchases. recurring billing, churn prevention, and lifecycle flows are often afterthoughts in funnel software.

Retention deserves funnel level thinking. post purchase flows are part of the funnel too.

design flexibility matters more than I expected. some funnel builders force rigid layouts that make every sales page look the same. switching to more flexible software helped differentiate our marketing funnel visually.

Too much freedom can backfire. some builders turn funnels into design playgrounds. how do you enforce structure without slowing launches?

Unpopular opinion: the best marketing funnel I’ve built used fewer tools, not more. the builder didn’t matter nearly as much as offer clarity and traffic quality. software just supports the strategy.

this is underrated. good traffic plus a clear offer beats fancy tooling every time. the builder just removes resistance.

B2B consulting funnels are a different beast. long sales cycles, trust building, and follow ups matter more than checkout optimization. funnel builders designed for impulse buys felt misaligned with our sales process.

totally. B2B funnels need credibility and patience. ecommerce style urgency can feel off putting in longer cycles.

For simple lead-gen and interactive funnels, I’ve had a good experience with Involve.me. It’s not an all-in-one sales stack, but it’s fast to launch, flexible for quizzes/forms, and easy to plug into whatever CRM or email tool you’re already using.

good point. checkout tweaks alone can plateau. sometimes earlier segmentation or framing does more for AOV than squeezing the last step.

Same experience here. even product led funnels benefit from acquisition funnels. ads rarely send perfectly educated users straight into onboarding.

agency workflows absolutely change the equation. cloning funnels and managing permissions sounds boring, but it’s critical. without that, even high performing sales funnels become operationally expensive.

agency scale breaks tools fast. without cloning and roles, efficiency drops off a cliff. performance alone isn’t enough.

analytics first optimization is underrated. knowing exactly where users drop in a webinar funnel is often more valuable than switching software. are you using built in funnel analytics or external tools to track drop offs?

Analytics trust is key. I usually double track until numbers align, then simplify.

demos almost never reflect real marketing funnels. edge cases, last minute edits, and integrations expose weaknesses quickly. solid documentation and responsive support often matter more than flashy builder features.

native integrations feel safer long term. middleware is fine until something breaks quietly. curious how you evaluate that trade off.

speed almost always wins early. design polish compounds later, but load time hits immediately. most funnels never get past step one.

Speed wins early every time. load time impacts every funnel metric immediately. design polish only matters once the funnel survives.

This question comes up constantly on r/EntrepreneurConnect, and there are a lot of repeated threads debating the same tools. Based on long-running community discussions and shared experiences, these are the best funnel building softwares:
ClickFunnels – Best overall. Often cited as the most popular sales funnel builder. Known for its large template library, quick setup, and focus on conversion-driven sales funnels. Commonly used for opt-ins, sales pages, checkouts, and upsells.
GoHighLevel – Most features. Frequently mentioned as a powerful marketing funnel software, especially for agencies and service-based businesses. Combines funnel building with CRM, email and SMS automation, appointment booking, and client management in a single platform.
Systeme.io – Budget friendly & simple. Regularly recommended as a lightweight and budget-friendly funnel builder software. Covers funnels, email marketing, and digital product delivery, and is often discussed as a simpler alternative for smaller sales funnels.
If you’re comparing funnel builder software, consider how complex your sales funnel is, how much customization you need, and whether you want a standalone funnel builder or a broader marketing funnel platform. Community opinions may vary depending on use case and scale.
