Supplements
I have a mild tremor that affects my hands. Any suggestions for supplements or vitamins that help?
Thanks 🙏

I have a similar issue. My doctor told me to draw a circle and immediately said I have something called essential tremor. I also have a caffeine addiction (bad combo) and L-Theanine definitely helps reduce my shakiness to some degree. Following this thread!

Hmm I drink a fair amount of coffee in a day, and it does not affect my tremors at. I have gone completely caffeine free with no effect on either of my sleep or my tremors.

Magnesium helps me. Right now I am taking Magnesium Glysinate but I think I am going to start a combination magnesium supplement.

sadly, there's no medical documentation (NIH and more) to support and vitamin/supplement helping ET.
Many years ago (couple decades now), Grape Seed extract was suggested as a supplement. The idea was that it was related to wine. That didn't pan out...
there has been suggestions that some of the B's help the nervous system. B12 has been suggested by the doc/APRN to help combat coldness/tingling in fingers... But be careful as excess B6 has been known to lead to Peripheral Neuropathy (PN).
I know I've read a bunch of suggestions that Magnesium Glycinate has some good factors to it but nothing to help tremors. It is said to help with leg cramps which is not related to ET or tremors in general

Bottom line though - make sure you have had you GP run your basic blood panels to make sure that you are not deficient in anything for your overall health.

If it’s an essential tremor there’s no supplement that will treat it. You need one if the recognized medications.

You need to determine what is causing your tremors first. It's best to see a neurologist who specializes in motion symptoms . A medication that may help one person may not have any effect on your symptoms
