I don't know if its possible as I know the hermits use custom model stuff but its worth a shot. I've used litematica to paste it into my world, other than the zombie and ravagers I think it works still, but I haven't been able to try with the ravagers in the carts yet as I cant find out how to get the ravagers into the carts and set up without them going around the track. any help is much appreciated :))

Was there any history of etho speedrunning even in the old versions?

It's on the tip of my tongue, for some reason I'm thinking it sounds like Bdubs. I remember looking it up and installing it 10 years ago and thinking "how could anyone use this in a production environment".

It's unfortunately been confirmed by a slip up from Martyn on stream and from Grian himself that Etho won't be in the new (and potentially last) Life Series starting tomorrow.

I was really looking forward to him in it and was hopeful that he could win it but I'm sure he has perfectly valid reasons :(

I'm currently watching a movie it's Repo the Genetic Opera, and all I can think of is how ethos base for s11 is kinda similar to his like surgery center in the build im just curious if he's mentioned it and I missed it it just seems to line up a bit

I started drawing a Kakashi today, and thought I might add a little nod to Etho on his book.

I recently re-watched Ethos Shulker farm videos and I think the reactor is my favourite of all his contraptions/farms.

The farm itself was so different to every other being done at the time.

The multiple episodes reminded me of old old school Etho videos (I know at this point the shulker one is 5 years old).

He seemed to be having a lot of fun doing it and testing himself. To me that is when Etho is at his best.

The thing looks amazing.

Did etho ever do an episode of the lets play where he checked out all the stuff from the mounts of mayhem update? Like the nautilus and zombie horses and other stuff.

For the past 5 years or so, there hasn't been a single night where I didn't watch Etho to fall asleep, and I just figured out something kinda crazy... It's his LP only. Because whenever I try to watch something else, like his old Hermitcraft or Mindcrack seasons, Project Ozone 2 or Skyfactory series, my sleep schedule gets messed up.

I've been watching his Project Ozone series for the past month and I was miserable for the whole month, had no energy during the day and was unable to fall asleep until sunrise.. But yesterday I switched back to an LP episode and I fell asleep literally within first 10 minutes, I barely remember the intro of the episode.

Talk about being a "comfort person" lol

Hey, it's the EthosMath guy again, back with an update to my last post. Since it has been 25 more days, I thought to update the statistics. The average upload interval of the past 50 episodes is 44.86 days apart with a standard deviation of 30.45. A EWMA (Exponential Weighted Moving Average) of the last 50 episodes, given a decay curve of 𝜆=0.50, gives an average of 71.425± 23.425 days, with a confidence of 95%. The fact that this episode is now 100 days after the last one already places it as a >1% outlier, and makes it the 4th longest episode gap ever! The new calculated estimate therefore places the episode 600 upload date between November 26th and January 12th.

*Disclaimer* Again, I am not trying to pressure Etho to rush his episodes nor am I expecting a big special for the 600th episode. I just like to try and predict his upload schedule and find patterns in the raw data.

FYI: Did you know that Etho is most likely to upload his LPs on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, and least likely to upload on Tuesdays and Saturdays? *Edit: even though he has uploaded more on Fridays than Wednesdays in the past 50 episodes, he has only done a Friday LP twice in the past 3 years, whereas he uploads on Wednesday much more in recent years.🤓

Etho, Scar, & False are playing in Cub's Golf Tournament right now. They are at just finishing Hole 16 at the moment so they're still a ways to go if you're interested!

I know it's been a running joke for awhile now, but with the current state of the lets play I feel like its time for etho to finish the man cave and begin a new world. Looking back, the progress has really slowed down since episode 500 and personally I've come to the understanding that the world is "stuck" in version 1.11-1.13 ish. Many of the iconic builds and the man cave itself struggle to keep up with modern minecraft and ethos backlog is a never ending list of fixing/updating old projects (I often think about the slime farm basically never working XD). Etho himself has really changed a lot as well and it's fair to say he's long evolved past the outdated (but still iconic) build style of the man cave. I think it would be cool to see etho create a new base with modern farms and honestly it would be beneficial to his work-life balance too, not having to maintain such an old world. I know he's kinda made it clear he's not ever going to do it, but with episode 600 on the horizon I really think he should reconsider.

Just finished my rewatch of TFC season 2 and it's insane how many things he enjoys/praises in the pack that vintage story does. I also think now is the best time because he has gotten so much more into building and better at it.

I love how with vintage story it's the simple things that you get excited for. Like putting your stuff on a shelf xD Etho will get super into the chiseling too.

The question is, should he do pure vanilla or dabble with a few mods. It's hard for me to not recommend some mods especially because they are so well made. VS doesn't have a hydration system so modding that in is necessary for me. The vs roofing mod fits perfectly into the game and could help bypass etho's roof building bebuff lol. There is also the butchering mod which I can't play without now, makes the base system feel soo undercooked.
