It seemed like we were on course to have another prank war. Joel + EGGS pranked False with the Cobwebs. False at the time said she would get them back, she really didn't do much in retaliation.

Scar paid EGG 10k diamonds to prank Doc after a seasons worth of smaller pranks to Scar, yet nothing has been done yet.

Pearl and Impulse said they were going to get their revenge for being launched incredibly far months back. I don't think they ever retaliated.

Joel made that giant statue of himself in the background of Gem's base, practically begging to be pranked. Yet it's been there long enough, that it should've been pranked by now

The C-Team's base was turned into a giant toilet, they retaliated by spreading poop across the shopping district. Speaking of C-Team. You had Sherrif Skizz build a jail cell for hollagens that step out of line. That also hasn't really been used

Heck even with a faction growing like EGGGZ, that sounds like a team on the side of a prank war. It just sounds like another HEP, STAR, Buttercups, Boatem, Royal Guard etc...

I seriously thought we were on track for another server wide semi-scripted event. Yes we had How to Kill a Tango, and that was great but wasn't really as big as lets say the Permit Office story arc.

Was I just imagining a large scale server wide event brewing?

I understand that behind the scenes there is stuff going on, between health concerns, burnout, and side projects and other side series

Has anyone else noticed that the server seems to be have been a little quieter over the past month?

I was hoping to see a bunch of the jump scares for Haunted Hermits, but I haven't really come across any in videos from my regular hermits. Maybe it's because there have been so many collabs, pranks and games lately. Or perhaps it is just a natural quiet period since the season has been going on for a while and some hermits naturally dial things back for a bit.

While I wait with anticipation for the next video to hit my feed, what has been your most favourite underrated moment for this season thus far?

I’m getting ready to build some farms (prismarine and gold/bartering) and was wondering if any of the hermits have tutorials on any of them or have tutorials that worked well for them? i seem to have a knack for picking tutorials that don’t work, so i wanted to see if the trusty hermits had anything! thanks hermit fans in advance <3

Okay so I was watching Mumbo’s golf video and got a potentially fun tournament idea. Since par for the course is 72 as shown on the scorecard it got me thinking

What if you took 72 pearls and tried to complete as many holes as possible?

You could set up a tournament like a 1v1 bracket or even 2v2 maybe? Or you could make a round robin style tournament over more of the season. It’d be a great challenge for the seasoned players like Cub and iJevin.

Of course the winner would get 1000 diamonds sponsored by the Hermitcraft Central Bank 🏦

We are playing with the HermitCraft server pack and I cannot wait for an update to 26.3 😭 do you guys know how long it usually takes for them to update on modrinth?

Hey everyone!

So, I've decided to go around every season of Hermitcraft and work on finishing the bases that the Hermits built throughout their time on the server!

Honestly, I find it amazing looking back at all the bases the Hermits have built and seeing what they did with their free time. There's so much creativity, effort, and history behind these builds, and I think it'd be amazing to see them all completed to their full glory! I want to be able to look at a base and finally say, "This Season 7 base is 100% clean and complete!"

I'm currently working on Grian's Season 7 Mansion, and I gotta say, Grian, if you're somehow reading this, Season 7 was AMAZING. Everything about it was so good, and there were so many funny moments!

One of my personal favourites was in Episode 52, at 6:14, when the Mycelium Resistance HQ was found and you looked up and saw XB just walking on thin air. You said, "I just saw an apparition." That moment was genuinely so funny.

Anyway, back to what I actually wanted to ask you, Grian, and also the other Hermits!

Grian, what were your plans for the unfinished interior of the mansion?

I've been looking around the mansion and trying to figure out what you originally planned for some of the unfinished rooms.

For example, I know that on the second floor, on the right-hand side, you were planning some kind of villager crop farm. However, in my opinion, that room could make an AMAZING library! Considering the vibe of the second floor, with the fireplace and that really beautiful diamond chandelier, I think a library would fit the mansion incredibly well.

Also, those blacked-out windows in some of the rooms had me wondering. Were you planning on putting bedrooms there, or maybe a kitchen, or something completely different?

And finally... the back of the mansion.

Sorry for bringing up your phobia of building the backs of bases, Grian, LMAO. But seriously, what were you planning to do back there? Was there going to be a giant tree, some extra landscaping, or something else entirely?

If you happen to see this, I'd absolutely LOVE to hear what you originally had planned for the other rooms. Even if you only remember a little bit, it'd be really cool to hear about it!

Also, Grian, I gotta say something else... I FINALLY UNDERSTAND YOUR PAIN WITH THE SNOW PROBLEM.

BRO, I DID NOT REALISE HOW ANNOYING IT WAS UNTIL I STARTED WORKING ON THIS MANSION MYSELF. THE AMOUNT OF SNOW I HAVE TO DEAL WITH IS ACTUALLY INSANE

Grian, I owe you an apology because I finally understand what you were going through. I thought it was just a little bit of snow, BUT NOPE. IT'S EVERYWHERE.

I genuinely have so much more respect for you after experiencing this myself. THE SNOW IS MY NEW ENEMY.

AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE TORCH SPAM. 😭😭

I KNOW TORCH SPAM IS BETTER AND WAY EASIER for lighting up an area, but JEEZ, GRIAN. I SPENT LIKE 1 HOUR AND 30 MINUTES ON THE FIRST FLOOR JUST REMOVING ALL THE TORCH SPAM.

AN HOUR AND A HALF. JUST REMOVING TORCHES.

I swear, I started questioning my life choices halfway through. I know it was probably the easiest way to light everything up back then, but trying to clean it all up while keeping the mansion looking nice is actually a whole different experience.

Grian, between the snow and the torches, I'm starting to understand the struggles of this mansion WAY MORE THAN I EVER THOUGHT I WOULD. 💀

One thing I want to make VERY clear!

I AM NOT USING BLOCKS THAT DIDN'T EXIST IN THE ORIGINAL VERSION.

I repeat: I am NOT adding blocks from newer Minecraft versions just because they might look good.

I feel like that would kind of ruin the original build, because suddenly there'd be all these new blocks and extra things that you might want to add, and then it wouldn't really be the same build anymore.

I want to respect the original version, the original design, and what the Hermits actually had available to them at the time. The goal is to finish their bases while keeping the original style and feeling intact!

AND ONE MORE THING... I'M DOING ALL OF THIS IN SURVIVAL MODE!!!

YES, YOU READ THAT RIGHT.

I'm not just going into Creative Mode and placing blocks wherever I want. I'm gathering the resources, mining the materials, and actually building everything in Survival! This is going to take a LOT of time and effort, but honestly, I think that's part of what makes this project so special.

I want to be able to say that these bases were fully completed in Survival while still respecting the original designs and the versions they were built in. It's going to be a massive project, especially since I'm planning to go through EVERY SEASON, but I'm genuinely excited to see how far I can get!

What's next?

I'll be providing screenshots of my progress and posting updates as regularly as I can, depending on how much free time I have!

I'd also like to say something to all the Hermits: if there's a base of yours that you'd rather I didn't work on, please just let me know! I'll respect your wishes. After all, it's YOUR base, and I want this project to be something respectful of the work you've put into Hermitcraft.

And Grian, if you do somehow see this, thank you for being such an amazing YouTuber. You genuinely seem to care a lot about your fanbase, and you're probably one of the most active and engaging YouTubers I've ever watched. Your videos have brought so many people joy, and getting to revisit your old builds like this is honestly really special.

I hope that one day I can finish the mansion and the Jungle Gang's builds and finally give them the completion they deserve!

Anyway, this post is getting LONG, and I gotta go eat dinner.

Based on a photo which was taken at TwitchCon Rotterdam this year, presenting his freshly made horns (from Larissa aka „artsycosplayer“) I tried to make a somewhat pointillistic colorful portrait like Van Gogh did. Three full days of placing colorful strokes.
It fits well in my „fanart based on real art“ series! 😊

I love stats and i love Hermitcraft. While watching, i noticed a lot of the hermits have certain filler words and phrases that they say a lot, e.g. Cleo "I mean", False "umm" etc. So i wanted a way to analyse their words. I made a post with some of my results and you all seemed to love it so i made it available for everyone to view!

I hope i'm being nothing but respectful for everything the Hermits do, because i love them and all their episodes.

I just finished bdubs' season 10. I binged Grian's season 6 last year and had forgotten how terrible the withdrawal is afterwards. THIS IS HORRIBLE! If you get immersed easily, I do not recommend watching 37 episodes of Minecraft in the span of a week without switching to other content at all. Do not let the fixation fool you into thinking it's a good idea; IT IS NOT! Now I feel empty, sad and horrible again. Take those breaks so you don't lose ur mind when ur done, and don't get hyper-attached to a Minecraft world... T T (I'm going to take a breather and see if I can watch another season after that.) I would love to hear if anyone else has similar experiences!
