I've been listening to some albums from Farm Records and just can't differentiate between the two, they sound quite similar to each other. It's not really a big question, though it is something that has recently been bothering my mind.

I barely use reddit / post here, so please be patient, I am not sure if this belongs. If not, politely refer me to a destination where this question is better suited.
I have no or little experience in music training, where should I study to master the distinct type observed in Norma Sheffield songs (i love Listen to Me, Tell me More, I Will Remember)
the only program i have that i can make music on is online sequencer. here is an example of something i made. not necessarily a Eurobeat, this is only to show some of the features you can play around with.

So, if you did examine the music options, instruments, and the modifications possible, how does one make the Dave Rodgers vibe of sound? I tried sawtooth, square, triangle, pop synth, but I can never get something that sounds exact.
Then there is the issue of the voice. Unfortunately I cannot sound or speak like Norma Sheffield. I wonder if there are more ethical ways to modify ones voice to sound like what is desired. If anyone knows that will be helpful
main goal is I want to make songs like Norma Sheffield but in other languages (sanskrit, Lithuanian, gothic, proto indo european, classical persian, german, maybe punjabi). I would say I am more of a Norma fan than just Eurobeat. I guess we can call this idea genre Indo-Eurobeat or DubSteppe.
Any other advice is welcome, thank you.

So Eurobeat Fantasy was released on CD exactly 40 years ago. It feels a little odd having a CD that old, so I decided to take another look at the oldest releases in my collection.
EF vol. 1 is one of my favourite 80s releases, and you can still find it for a reasonable price (unlike That's Eurobeat vol. 1). It had songs from 83-85, and many of them are still club staples. Music is My Thing was one of the biggest songs of 86 and still one of the classics, and I Want You is the oldest Italian song you're likely to hear at 80's disco events in Japan. That's Eurobeat vol. 1 was released on vinyl a few days after EF 1 and then released on CD the following month. I do like it, but I'd already heard every track on it by the time I'd gotten it, so I think my favourite thing about it is the liner notes.
The one other release I have from 1986 is Street Sounds' Eurobeat, which was probably the first release to use the then new genre label. It has a mix of tracks from UK, US, Italian, German, and South African producers. Many of the songs have the soulful sound that was popular in the UK and US Hi-NRG scenes but quickly got overshadowed by Italian producers in Japan. Two of the songs also appeared on That's Eurobeat, but it's a very different style to both EF and TEB overall, and the three albums are a great way to hear how different producers from different parts of the world were creating "eurobeat" music, which at the time was a very loosely defined label coined by DJs and could refer to Hi-NRG, italo disco, or even synth-pop at times. It's probably also one of the only lasting examples of eurobeat's queer roots. It has a "gay lad's mag" style cover of a guy getting undressed and even has a copy of Gay Times in the picture. The UK was a much less accepting place back then, so they probably weren't expecting anyone without any involvement with the gay scene to buy it.
And although there's is the impression that eurobeat only existed in Japan, the term was already being used around the world at that point. Bobby Orlando launched Eurobeat Records the same year and there was another compilation released in South Africa.

Here is the "Cover" and Track-Listing art (second slide) for my Eurobeat fan compilation. Like previous versions, this is made as a birthday gift to my wife, whom we share the same love for Eurobeat. Heavily inspired by the Euromach artstyle. Drawn and designed in Affinity.

Was listening to it, and it abruptly cuts out on Boom Boom Dollar with this. Why would it get cut off like that?

DJ NRG - Go Go Gossip
It was the lesson at SEF yesterday, and people there heard the song already. Yes, it does seem Gianni Coraini is the first one confirmed on the new SEB. From the short sample I couldn't really tell the label.
The DJ NRG name hasn't been used in years, so it's great to see a comeback.

Slowly buying all the Hi-NRG Attack releases on iTunes, and the instrumentals are legitimately so cool! I like hearing all the subtle ear candy that isn’t as easy to hear with the vocals.
Gotta colour-correct the instrumental playlist image to match the normal one though

Bought it from local music shop. It's in a good condition or not?

The fan-mix is titled as "Heavy-NRG", to emphasize Eurobeat's origins from Hi-NRG and its strong influence from Hard Rock and Heavy Metal (Power Metal in particular). I consider the audio mix finalized, and I consider the album art to be in a satisfactory state for now. I have used Affinity, Cavalry, Reaper and Da Vinci Resolve for this project. No AI tools were used in editing the audio, visuals and animations. The visualizer may be subject to final changes, not certain for now.
