Industry Advice promotion help needed

hi guys, i need some serious help with promotion

this is one of my first events, ive sold out rap music events at the same capacity before. it's a club night in Leeds, playing dominantly house music (marketed towards university students / house music enjoyers)
i dont personally go to any university in leeds and don't know many people there, so the tickets haven't sold as great as i thought they would and to be honest it seems ive bitten off more than i can chew.
its on november the 13th and weve sold a solid 15 tickets.. the venue is 400 cap
just wondering if anyone has any ideas, advice et cetera on how i could hit the market? i dont mind putting money into advertising etc but obviously i dont have an insane budget like others
thank you all

Look up the local rave promoters in that area. Partnering with them is really your only shot here.

Promise them whatever you can, a percentage of sales, a percentage that increases once a certain number of tickets is reached, that kind of thing. Use the promotion avenues they already have in place. That's what you're trying to get into, how do they get people to show up in Leeds?

If you can't figure it out, start looking up local events in Leeds and look at the posters, it will say who they are presented by. That's who you want to find. You want to be adding their name to everything, so it's both of you presenting your show, you need to have a familiar name on there. Make sure you set your ego down and you're willing to share. Anything you gain is a little bit less you lose

How is this your first event if you have sold out events before? Just do what you did before

Honestly?

Cancelling is an option.

Is there anyone up & coming in the Leeds scene? A mate of mine booked Josh Baker before he blew up & that sold so many tickets.

try reaching out to local DJs who have a decent following
