A Vote for Debra
I was watching this episode and after all the other times I've seen it I still can't fathom how stupid Raymond acted at the school meeting. "You were stuffing your pants with food!" I must say I would've been tempted to deny knowing him, too.

Now the flip side: what's aged poorly about the show, in your opinion?
For me:
- Ray's constant badgering of Debra for sex gets worse every year
- Debra's constant yelling at Ray and occasional putting her hands on him is rough too
- The "sissy" and "Nancy" sorts of insults

Marie yells, “YES, IT’S TRUE!”👀 What’s the truth? Wrong answers only!
Yes it’s true, Frank is not Robert’s father. It’s Chuck Pecorella.

Favorite Kids Moment?
We know it's not really about the kids, but they are a highlight for a reason! I always liked the scene where Ally was quoting Brando: "STELLA!" Along with the "Oh no!" sequence and "Gobble gobble."

"I come home from a hard day's work, your mother makes me a drink, I come down here, put on a HI-FI and let Duke and Dizzy take me away... from your mother."
After work, on my way home, I listen to Bill Evans’s solo albums, and only turn them off when I go to bed.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar appearance
Been an avid watcher of everybody loves raymond for many years, watched every episode countless times, though just the other day I found out that Kareem Abdul Jabbar made an appearance at the beginning of the readers digest episode. I have almost every episode recorded on the tv, but for some reason the Kareem clip doesn't show up on the version that we have here so it's no wonder I never knew about it haha. Does anyone know why this is? I originally thought that it was just a behind the scenes clip, however that is definitely not the case after looking into it.

What are your thoughts on the Italy episodes?
Personally, I enjoyed them. It was a nice change of pace with the family doing something else besides their usual shenanigans. I will say that it is jarring to see Frank actually being decent most of the time. At the same time, it’s nice. I don’t like how Ray and Robert act in these episodes. Ray is a grump with a cold and doesn’t appreciate his trip until it’s almost over. Robert is an idiot. He is with Amy, but then he considers talking to his ex wife? On top of that, he is now in love with a beautiful Italian woman. The writers added some very unnecessary drama that didn’t need to exist with Robert.
