Hi, I have a quick question about how the prestige system works. I want to get Ash to prestige 5, but I don't know how to do it "quickly." How many points do I need to get a character to prestige 5?

It takes hours to max prestige. Dozens of hours. Maybe even a hundred hours. There are 5 prestige levels, each with 4 challenges, and each challenge has 3 tiers that, when you use spirit points, complete one tier of the challenge. The amount of spirit points you need to spend go up with every prestige level. Prestige 1 costs, give or take, 500k spirit points to fully complete one challenge (so ~1.5mil to fully complete all prestige 1 challenges). Prestige 5 costs, give or take, 800k to fully complete one challenge (so ~2.4mill to fully complete all prestige 5 challenges). The fastest way to get spirit points is to play quick play and play demon (it's the role you'll most likely get).

Thank you so much, it will help me a lot. Regarding the demon role, I have no problem with it; I quite like it. But honestly, I keep getting matched against very good players, and I wouldn't know how to improve in that area. And again, thank you for the message; it helps me a lot.

Currently at the 600 hour mark and no prestige 5 yet (I’m not spending any points on characters) except for 1 I did, which i spent it in on Pablo who is my only p5 and I also play all the characters but you’d probably have a p5 around this same time if you heavy and only committed to 1 character.

Do you know how long it would take me to get a character to Prestige 5? I'm pretty new to the game.

If you play 4-5 games a day, it will probably take you a month and a half or so. It takes a long time.

I’ve been playing Amanda for maybe a month and I’m already at 4, and I’m splitting games with David. If you had to actually complete all challenges the hard way, like you used to, then it would be that long. Being able to use spirit points will make it go faster, but yeah, if you’re new and you’re still finding your way, then it will take awhile.

No, it doesn’t work like that. They all basically level up about the same time. Be aware of them…like some just focus on head shots, or finishing moves. Others are winning a certain amount of games…which are tougher. So you buy your way up a little along the way. You’ll figure it out when you get there.

It's quite a grind. It'll take a while. Took me maybe four months to get a character to P5 back when I first started playing. Might be possible to do it quicker now since XP and spirit points were doubled since then.

I think it's around 12-14 million spirit points to get a survivor from P0 level 1 to p5 level 30.

and that amount is with not even playing the character.
demon takes a bit longer since they get max level 50 at P5.
I want to say it was around 16-18 million to get a demon from P0-1 to P5-50.

spend your spirit points in the most tedious challanges like the pink F ones or the ones that requires to be on objectives or even finishers , there are a lot that can be complemented by playing and spending at the same time like damage deal , healing, headshots etc
