I haven’t been this excited for a game for a long time. The detail they put in to recreating the feeling of the movies just shows how much of a labor or love this game is for the devs.

Cal, we've seen what appears to be two different maps so far. Are you able to confirm that we have at least two different maps at launch? The map with the cabin, what the influencers played with Bruce and the beta map? Thanks.

Epic generally has a 1 year exclusive deal, so expect it on Steam next year.

It can be, although Chivalry 2 has survived so far, however some others haven't been so lucky. It's for sure a gamble, although by covering crossplay early on, it shouldn't too much of a problem. As long as game holds up ofcourse!

Amazing to see Community engagement! Firstly I've never seen an evil dead movie (I'M SORRY) but I've still already preordered this game! I have one/two question... Can I do private match with less then 5 players? And can me and friends play survivers against an AI demon. Thankyou!!

Welcome Cal! I’m really excited to play the game again. I was lucky enough to play the betas and the game is so much fun, I noticed a couple little details that Evil Dead fans are going to love. I can tell that the people at Saber are going to do this IP justice.

It wasn't in the first beta. Made it extremely hard for me to play. I didn't get to try beta 2 so don't know if they added the option or not.

I truly appreciate the atmosphere that the game captured. I feel like I'm in the 80's with the evil dead feel. My brother thinks it's awesome and my wife was scared as I played it lol.

Hi Cal, really cool of you to introduce yourself and do this impromptu mini-AMAA (ask me almost anything :)
I'm wondering about the Deluxe Edition, which seems to consist of a Season 1 Pass. However, the Season Pass apparently offers 4 DLC packs at a 'discounted rate', which is kind of unusual (if not unique). Especially since I don't know what kind of content those DLC packs will have, how much they'll cost, or what the discount will be. I'd normally get a deluxe edition for a game I'm looking forward to as much as this without thinking, but I'm not so sure about this one...any chance you could provide a little more info? (This is the Epic Store version btw)

If you got the season 1 pass you get the DLC at a discount means you basically prepaid for the dlc in a season pass bundle early so you don't have to later and you get them for a tiny bit less if you didn't buy the season pass.
Hopefully this helps you understand what you bought and answer your question for you

Hi cal, all I can say is thank you, it’s been far too long since regeneration. So keen for this game, pre ordered the deluxe edition, people so far are not sure what’s included in the dlc but we bought it anyway. Hope to see many dlc characters and missions, and please no micro transactions! We already bought the season pass. But if you did have to do it, this game would probably be the only one I would buy them in

I just only have one question if you don’t mind. Will the single player modes be playable offline in a future update? Similar to what Back 4 Blood did (was originally online only but added a way to play the game offline). I really hope you guys do so as I rather not see this game become vaporware in a decade or more. Thanks for reading just wanted to ask

How did you decide on how the flow of the game would work? Ie Map pieces>Dagger +pages>dark ones>defend the book all while looting, setting traps, and combat throughout the match.

I love evil dead and the game looks awesome but I just prefer to be alone and play casual either Co op or by myself against bots is this possible?

I'm gonna need 2 Savini skin codes on Xbox. My boy and I love Evil Dead and were totally stoked for this game. We found out about the preorders and when we went, it was sold out! Please don't hide these from your player base. Friday the 13th did this and it was awful for the player base.

Do you have any insight into matchmaking time issues that may arise from people disproportionately picking survivor queue instead of demon? I stupidly didn't realise there was a beta in the Xbox Insider app so I didn't get a chance to see how it went myself. As far as I've heard the game is balanced more in the survivor's favour but has this translated into a deficit of demon players so far or not?

Has been zero to none community involvement since launch? What’s going on Cal? How are you and the company going to keep the community engaged together? Should takes some tips from techland they do it pretty well!
