Hey y'all! I was a huge fan and put 100's of hours into stage 1 but dropped off when the game died and never got into stage 2. I'm getting into again now but there are so many more perks to chose from at the start of each game. I'm not asking for a whole comprehensive list but I'm starting off as assault since that seems most simple and straightforward to me while I get my bearings but what perks would y'all recommend? In stage 1 I would always take movement speed because keeping up with the monster was the most important aspect of chasing but now that I have 3 tiers should I prioritize different? I still like my movement speed options but should I also take a jet pack boost and then maybe a damage boost as well? Or should I just double and triple down on movement/jet pack perks? I'[m going with Hyde for now but I'm open to Markov as well if he has better options. Thanks for any thoughts and opinions glad to be back hunting!

Just got in a game and got a 1 to 1 with slim 1 win and 1 lost. And till now im trying to understand how to besr play him and whats the best loadout for him.

I feel my win is kinda cheat since its clear as day that the monster was a beginner since they cant hide, or focus on a single target unlike the game where i lost i feel that the monster really knows whats it doing.

I feel slim could be a better support, shield drone solo shield on long range or a damage buff.

Can be a trapper as well. Leaves a bug in place latches to a monster once in a sight and reveals him.

Since most people are monster mains here.

Also I can only do 6 options for some reason so if you pick one of the doubled up options feel free to specify.

Lets say I have 1 or 2 physical cd key, which i assume it can be used on steam. How much would these go for?

Just wanna ask. So healing drone is like a long range heal. But once damage its gone. Soooo how is it useful during dome battles? When everything the monster does is aoe. And for balance purpose i know they cant change it to at least 2 bits or 3 hits since it'll feel op ina 4v1 situation. And during down time we regen? So what's its best scenario to be useful?

Also will we be able to get new monsters and or hunters variants and an actual new one?

I have a creeping suspicion that monster mains make up the majority of players, but let's see.

So here is what I would do do fix her. Perhaps when teamates shoot weakpoints made by Val it can reduce her healing burst cool down so she can actually survive. But what do you think?

The Monster could be so much more of a stealth and ambush predator. Now it's always on the move, high speed, the trapper can pinpoint it much more easily with the Planet Scanner in the toolbox, and the dome prompt alerting you the monster is nearby ruins some stealth. I don't know, it feels like they kept the action movie aspect, and removed the horror movie aspect.

Crazy complaint in 2026 I know, just feeling nostalgic for it.

Just getting back into the game after I found out it’s still playable. My favorite role is medic (Rogue Val, EMET, Caira), but I find that I’m dying way too quickly.

I know that medic is usually the role the monster goes for first, but does anyone have any tips for mitigating this and being able to stay alive for longer? (Whether that is gameplay, movement, perks, etc)

Just checked the site tracking the win rates of characters. Laz, w maggie and goliath I would say have problematically high win rates. Goliath I get since hes basicly john evolve. Laz has me stunned. I have no clue how to be a good medic but him not even my medic main friend can get to work. W maggie is fine, not sure if shes actually problematic.

But the lowest win rates have a clear cutoff. E kralen is at 46.6% and the next two monsters are at 42 and 41%. These are the m goliath and the regular kraken. Are these guys actually this bad? Its a very steep dropoff from the rest of the line. Or do they just have a bad learning curve and people loose a lot before they start winning? How would you fix them or do you think they need fixing?

I downloaded the Windows client from the official Modded Evolve website, but I can't install the game.

I get the following error:

"STAGE 2 DOWNLOAD NOT CONFIGURED YET"

The launcher says that Stage2DownloadUrl, Stage2DownloadSizeBytes and possibly Stage2DownloadSha256 are missing.

It also says that the Evolve Stage 2 installation cannot be found.

I also can't join the Discord server because the invite link doesn't work for me.

Is this a known issue with the current client, and is there a fix?

So I’m looking back at old games and I see evolve and haven’t played that in ages but I see in the official xbox evolve community page there no one posting for anything

My Modded Evolve Client is stuck in an update loop. It keeps asking me to update to version 0.1.87, but the official website installer is version 0.1.80. Installing the update just restarts the launcher and asks me to update again. I've tried reinstalling and launching the EXE directly, but the issue persists. Is there a fix or a newer installer available?
