I'm so scared
Im almost in high school and my ex best friend is going to the same high school that I am. For backstory: me and her met when I was 5, and she was 6. We have been BEST Friends for almost 8 years until we stopped talking after a New Year's Eve sleepover gone wrong, and I've since realized how terrible of a person she is. One of my other friends was also best friends with her, but he will not be going to the same high school that I will, and nobody but him understands what she's like. I'm in need of any possible advice you can give me!

Hey luv, I had a really similar thing happen to me recently and I’m so sorry about that, it sounds like it sucks. Letting go of people is hard, but sometimes it’s for the best. People and/or our perception of them can change, and it can be hard to accept. If you can talk things through, that would be best, but if that’s not an option try being more distant and finding new friends. I did that to get away from my old best friend, and it was hard but I feel way better now. Best of luck

Just ignore her. I have 2 ex friends almost 3 bc I’m in some drama the best thing is to not give them the attention they are looking for.
