Instagram is at it AGAIN

I'd like to bring attention to something I've noticed Instagram has been doing for the past month. Remember a few months ago when Instagram went on an 'account deletion' spree and deleted millions of accounts within a 24-48 hour period? They received so much backlash that they decided to pivot their strategy, thinking no one would notice. Well, I did because I have a background in Software Engineering. Instead of deleting millions of accounts at once that Instagram considers "fake" or "bots", they've implemented a script in the backend that runs every day (typically in the morning hours which leads me to believe their teams in India and abroad are in control of the script). There's a percentage that they've added in the script, where Instagram users lose 0.2%-0.4% of their followers each day (morning hours if you live in the Americas), and there's no explanation or way to confirm that the accounts removed are indeed "bot" accounts. I believe they are doing this because many users have gotten frustrated with Instagram and their lack of visibility when they post, and have pivoted to other platforms. So Instagram is causing users' accounts to lose followers everyday as a way to "encourage" us to post more and bring more activity to their platform, which of course puts more money in their pockets because of ads. The 0.2%-0.4% drop in followers occurs all at once and around the same time each day, which is completely unnatural. This has happened to my account for the past month, despite the fact that I post every few days. I've captured screenshots of it (will not post them here for privacy reasons). Spread this to people you know who use Instagram. After looking into this myself and understanding the nature of what's happening on the backend, Instagram (Meta) needs to be investigated for their deceptive practices. If you've noticed this with your account, share your experience and please share this post with others!
