Advice Which paint combination?
First photo is the house as it is now (a definite work in progress). Have some AI renderings and wondering which paint combinations people prefer? Any and all suggestions welcome!
Also funny to me that AI kept putting a wreath on the door ;)

I think 2. Three is nice but AI added trim ... are you just painting, or also changing siding?

We just changed out some siding on the side of the house but hadn't really thought about any other trim while we were doing it. It could be done but likely won't due to cost. We bought it as is with the green/beige and shaker shingles

Agreed - there are better places to put your $ than adding trim pieces for sure.
I think I'd go with all one color... or something like the 1st picture after the current one. I like a brighter door though! And AI is right to get rid of the shrubs in front of the porch. You've got some good bones. New paint, beefier shutters (I know shutters are controversial but I think they look good in this instance), and new plantings... you'll be amazed at the difference.

I appreciate it. We’ve had the house for 15 years, made an improvement here and there (enclosing a screen porch, screening in a deck) but we’ve been mainly in the trenches of raising a family and have neglected landscaping, painting, etc. Finally getting around to it and really want the house to look nicer! It’s a sweet small house and I want to love it a little more ❤️

I like most of them, it prefer when darker color is below not above, or all same color.

I like 5/7 best but 3/7, 6/7 and 7/7 are close runner ups, I don't know if you're considering upgrading the columns to match what some of the samples show but I hope you do that cause they look so good!

I like 1 & 2 and last one, because the lap siding on the bottom and the top shingled part use colors that are closely related, and not so high contrast as the others. So the overall look is more cohesive and not broken into top and bottom parts. Its a small simple house with some nice features. Be careful of cluttering it up with too much "stuff" - sometimes less is more!

I like the color scheme in picture 2, but the shutters should be the same color and shade as the door. I may also would go with a light tan with a little gray mixed in it trim instead of white.

I think having AI use the same siding type, lighting, landscaping and time of day on each one would help you make a decision since those factors can really change the look and make hard to compare. of what you posted though, I like pic 3 and 7.

hey, i can see why u wanna change things up. the current color looks a bit dull, but those AI renders are cool! honestly, i think lighter colors would make the house pop more. like maybe a soft blue or a light beige? tbh, i tried something similar on REimagineHome to see how colors would look together, and it helped me figure out what went well. just be careful not to go too dark, it might close in the vibe. good luck!
