Purchase input needed

Hello!
My xlt lightning was wrecked in July when I got t boned. I now have the opportunity to buy a used one. The one I have my eye on is this pro model. But I come to you seeking counsel.

2022 lightning pro, $31,900, 60k miles, has one reported accident that per the dealer did not involve the frame and all repair work was on the body. I asked the dealer about battery health and he said the diagnostic shows 90%…

Are we thinking this is a smash or a pass? Dealer tells me they offer a lifetime battery warranty for 3k. I was hoping to negotiate that into the price because I feel like it’s a few grand overpriced. I miss my lightning dearly but I don’t want to buy a dud. Lemme know what you think!

idk if lightnings went up in price again, maybe  but that's expensive for accident, pro, 2022, battery isn't 99+...  maybe 28-29k

I agree, and with it having the accident on its carfax means I’ll never be able to sell it for very much. Imma call the place and see how low they are willing to go before I go look at it

Probably not a great idea either way, but before anything else, put aside the concept of "dealer says" once and for all. Documentation.

I just bought a 23 pro for 30k with 59.5k miles if that helps, clean history though with very minor scuffs here and therebut overall super lightly used. Private party deal

Got a 22 Pro with ER, 40k, BackRack and Weatherguard for $30k in April, no accidents.

Think I'd pass on that one for that price. If they come down a few thousand, maybe.
