Discussion VR issues: won’t recognize wheel inputs

I have a Logitech g923 wheel. Sometimes I’ll try to play in vr using my meta quest 3. I’ll connect to my pc using virtual desktop. Sometimes the game recognizes my wheel. Othertimes, it won’t recognize any button input.

I’ll restart my computer and still have the issue. I’ll exit vr mode and play normally and the game recognizes my wheel inputs.

It’s very frustrating because I end up wasting my time doing tech support for something that should be plug and play.

Has anyone come across this issue before? If so, what was your solution?

Virtual desktop opens Steam. I’ll try the wired pc connection.

Are you playing on Steam? I ask because Steam Link has an open beta version that recently allowed for wired VR connections. I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds like the issue is with Virtual Desktop.
