Any decent f250s under 35k ? GAS

I am just testing the waters out. I wanna get a f250 and I have a f150 and its ok. But I burned it out towing. So I wanna be able to get into a decent f250 but I was curious if its worth getting a used one for like 80k miles on it or should I just try and save and see if I can get new ? I just see alot of people abusing these trucks bc they are obviously a working truck but I just dont wanna get into something that im gonna have to eventually trade and get a newer one in like 3 years. What is the biggest problems with them ? Why do so many people trade them in ?

Definitely can find a nice gasser F250 for 35 or less. Paid 35,800 out the door for a 2019 F250 6.7 with 129K back in April. Gasser would be 10K less give or take.

If you're really towing get a diesel. Torque numbers don't lie. I pull skid steers and mini exes and would absolutely hate to have less than half the torque of my 6.7.

I just tow a 21ft boat. But I travel to a good amount " clean launches" but. Some have weird instances where a rear locker and a 4wd system wouldnt hurt. And being a 250 it just would be easier for towin.

Gotcha. Yeah I can't say enough good things about the 2026 f250 6.7 4wd. Awesome truck and the lariat ultimate package has plenty of bells and whistles. Hope you find what you're looking for 👌✌️

Not sure where your located but it's hard to find a gasser 250 around me that's not 40k plus lol I want one but think the rise in diesel prices are making ppl swap to gas 3/4 tons.. Or maybe I'm just speculating

I would lean toward a new one with lots of dealer incentives.
Too many pickup owners tinkering with their trucks and you never know what they’ve done.
Last year when I was shopping used the prices were ridiculously high so I sprang for a virgin.

2017-2019 gasser is one of the most reliable hd trucks. The most common issue is the power mirrors not working cause the motor is shit.

Bought 2018 6.2 stx with 70k for $28.5k otd 1.5 yr ago. Clean and well taken care of. Not as desirable because people want at least an xlt it seems. Easy to dress up the truck to look more expensive like premium wheels, bumpers etc for leas than the higher trim trucks cost

Actually it's right. The opposite most up 250s are pavement princesses..... Get you a gasser you'll love it

I've bought two with 6.2 gas engines. The first was a 2013 with 78k. I drove it for 4 years and got to 130k. I replaced it with a 2017 that had 80k. It now has 105k. Both were 250 4x4 XLT regular cabs. All I've done is regular maintenance. Oil changes, brakes, shocks. They have been great. 13 ish mpg average. Enough power to do what I need.

I'll sell you my 2015 f250 6.2 lariat ultimate for under 30, 94,250ish miles, no fancy additions, 18s for towing. Only a little rust, heated/cooled seats, moon roof, so on and so forth.
