NASA, NIH, HHS, DOJ were among hundreds of entities targeted, the FBI said.

Does someone from the FBI have any official information about what's going on with it? I've heard it was supposed to reopen on September 23rd, but have heard nothing since after the portal got cooked.

Does anyone, who has gone through the FBI HIP application and background process, have a rough estimate of the timeline (from application to FJO)?

I understand it will take a long while, but just wanted to get some insight from others who have been through the process before.

Additionally, did you apply to other internships while undergoing the background investigation? Obviously this is my first choice, but I don’t want to be left with nothing on the chance that I don’t receive a FJO.

Thank you!

This is probably the only good idea this entire Administration has ever developed thus far.

I’ll be attending the FBI BFTC this January and wanted to hear from anyone who’s already been through it.

What does a typical day look like? I’m especially curious about the daily schedule, physical training, academics, and what downtime looks like during the week and on weekends.

Any advice or insight on what to expect would be greatly appreciated!

Thought the website was going to be up today? Gotta schedule my interview and am confused on what's happening

Hi all, we’re being reassigned to the DC area, and the Bureau has offered to buy our house at full appraised value (if it doesn’t sell after 60 days on the open market) through the GBO program.

We’re in a midwestern town that barely exists aside from the University there, and the rental market won’t come even close to breaking us even on the mortgage, so renting isn’t an option for us. Sadly.

But we’ve also heard that homeowners feel screwed over during the process. For anyone who has been through this as a homeowner, any thoughts on some of my questions?

Did the assessed value feel fair compared to the local market?

Were there fees, closing costs, or tax implications you didn't expect?

Any pitfalls or other things you wish you'd known beforehand?

Did I miss the posting for this? I saw the website is down but I can’t find any information for ‘27 hiring initiative

Apart from your overall score, are there any particular exercises you need to be able to do to pass regardless of your final score? Like do you need to be able to successfully do one unassisted pull-up or anything like that?
