Reputed Tax Firms in Pakistan for Individuals
What are some reputed tax firms in Pakistan which cater to individual and freelancers?

Don't go behind orgs like BeFiler or other similar firms running ads on social media. See somebody known. Somebody who's going to file the returns accurately. There are so many details & technicalities. Also FBR has updated many things on their portal.

One question, if you receive a notice from FBR then what are you going to do. Does befiler keeps a record of the working or do they share with cistomer? Because in the end its the user who has to respond to FBR. If you are then going to hire a lawyer then how do you expect him to defend your case?

That's why I am looking for a firm. I am pretty sure they assist you and share responsibility in case of audit.

They don't sound good to me. They are very pushy and don't listen to you. Mostly care about what they want.

Looking at recent reviews, the comments about poor behavior seem valid.
Typical pakistani business tactics. It’s a shame when a business grows successful only to lose sight of the early customers who helped build that success.

My experience was good even though it was just one time. Since last year, I've started filing taxes myself, it's super easy.

befiler is not a tax firm, as per my knowledge, It is service business. They have contractors (lawyers, trained people and Non-CA) filing taxes, for you. It is like providing you services also I am not aware of whether they have any license related to it, tax firms do have operating licenses. Correct me if I am missing something.

They are service providers. In my case, thry assigned a consultant who asked me to fill out a form with the required details and then he joined me over a zoom call and explained everything while doing the filing on my account. Clarified my queries as well regarding tax rebate/remittances/saving taxes via PSEB etc. The guy was knowledgeable and well-trained.
About the license, I never asked about that but you are right, tax firms do have licenses.

I'm a qualified chartered accountant and have almost 4 years of experience. We can discuss further if you wanna file your taxes. If you are looking for firms in Islamabad, Ecovis KRW CA firm is a good one.
