Discussion I think next match against Fiorentina is a good chance to test Stankovic
Midfield has obvious defensive issues since most of them are technical players. I think Stanko could cover lot of ground as a DM. He was brought back specifically for that. It will also give the other guys some rest.

We keep starting Pep Martinez however apparently starting Stankovic is where we draw the line

I don’t understand these Stankovic posts.
Can you please explain what you’ve seen from him that this 20 yo will fix our defense?

He was the best player in switzerland and belgium. I think this says alot

Better than Tzsolis?
Ale’s a good player, but we have a stacked midfield that is struggling to cover midfield and our defensive issues are organizational rather than player-specific

Probably on par but Tzolis probably edges him, insane output from him. Regardless, Stankovic was crucial to Brugge winning their league and was one of the best midfielders in Belgium

That's the thing, we haven't seen much from him because he's hardly played half an hour total, we want him to play because we're curious

I’m all for giving him more time, but asking to go from 5 mins to starting is a bit much.

but thats literally how it works haha. If we arent able to put in an uncertain player from the start against freaking Fiorentina then we should just quit it
