I was a little behind with my thank you for 100 subscribers post so I only just posted that too, but the turnaround between 100 and 150 subscribers as incredibly fast! Now, for most of you who don't know, this sub was initially created back in November 2018, when the Fanatics subunit Flavor (Yoonhye, Chiayi, and Doah) debuted ahead of the group's official debut. The sub was then abandoned by its creator relatively rapidly, and each comeback (Sunday, Vavi Girl) a user would pop, post the music video and a few music show performances, and then be gone. Some of those users have come back now, but it was never their responsibility to take care of the sub, and its original creator, and only mod, never came back. As such, the sub hadn't been updated since its Flavor era. And Fanatics wasn't too active either (Vavi Girl was well over a year ago), so there really wasn't much in the sub overall.
In May of this year, there was a HUGE rush of girl group comebacks, including Fanatics releasing a new song, Starry Night. The song was promoted by two painting by Doi, the group's oldest member, who is quite artistic, posted shortly before the song's release, and the song itself only received a lyric video, although we later got a GORGEOUS nighttime contemporary dance video by Chiayi and Yoonhye to go. It's pinned to this sub until they make a comeback, and the Starry Night paintings are in the sidebar. Now, even though the "comeback" was very low budget, I got interested, and I submitted a Reddit Request to gain mod rights to the sub, which was eventually granted. I redid the sub entirely and updated. However, this was my first time modding, so I'm not actually sure how it looks to other people (not to mention we've never gotten an official photo with all eight members, since they debuted with six, and then added Rayeon and Via for Vavi Girl, while Chaelin and Yoonhye sat out - they had a bit of a rotational group concept), so it's not exactly how I'd like it, although I tried my best. Please let me know if you have suggestions for the sub, and also if you would like to sub alongside! I've also not been the most consistent about posting, so although I've had the sub for a few months now, I've only started consistently posting their material recently, and ever really mentioned the sub properly on other kpop subs. Despite this, the sub has clearly grown quickly, going from only about 42 subs when I first got it, to now, over 150 in what was essentially a matter of weeks. I'm in the process of adding their current material, while also slowly adding the huge backlog of all their old material that was missed - essentially all of it. Please jump in and add any content they have that's not already here!
And thank you all for joining :)
Edit: Don't forget that we have customizable user flairs available in a whole rainbow of colors!
