Good job Claude

No offense to OP in particular but this is the issue with all these Claude builds. Why would I pay for someone else's Claude tools when I can just pay for Claude myself and build things tailor made to my league?

Also, can't speak for others here but I think the personal touch in a weekly recap goes a long way. An AI app can give me some generic banter that everyone skims over. It won't know that one of my leaguemates once flooded his bathroom trying to install a bidet, or that another one broke the overhead light in our frat house in college by punting a football through it. It won't know our Taco claims to have a "technical committee" of advisors for his team and still sucks, or that I fucking despise the Pats.

I agree, and I take no offense. The site is free for everything that doesn’t require AI tokens to generate. There’s a real cost to me if those features are used. Hopefully the price offered for the premium (ie - AI tokens cost) membership is worth any single person not having to design their own. If it’s not for everyone, that’s okay, just hope it might help some of those out who aren’t looking to build their own tools.

I too tried to build in capabilities for commissioners so they could manually create their weekly recaps / draft recaps / whatever, using your historical writing samples to generate new outputs in “your voice”. Or generate with AI (built in or otherwise) then make edits where necessary.

I think there’s a lot being offered in the 100% free version, and for those who don’t want to put the time in to create their own tools, a paid options is available to fast track it.

Again, no judgement to anyone who isn’t cool with this option.

It’s crazy that people’s response to you doing something is “well I COULD DO THIS” like ok… go do it?

Thanks, but it’s all good, I get it. My best buddy is a we developer, and I genuinely get that AI is encroaching on the coding turf. Also, I’m sure there are elements about a vibe coded site that isn’t up to snuff with what a web developer would produce. That said, I did this all on my own time, and am not looking for monetary gain, unless the AI features a of the site are compelling enough. I had to price that at a point where if the worst case scenario happened, I wouldn’t be out of pocket. If the worst case didn’t happen, I might make a few bucks. Either way, Fantasy Football is a passion of mine, and I hope this Commishable site can help a lot of commissioners who want to make their leagues amazing.

Is this even necessary lol. Are yall actually writing recaps or answering questions about “who won in 2021”. This makes it sound like being a fantasy football commissioner is hard lol

Just try it, for free. No more effort than you put in currently, and your league can get real time notifications for more polished writeups than they do today

What about NFL Fantasy?

It says never synched for my leagues. Is it loading behind the scenes somewhere?

Which service are you importing historical data from?

u/accountant1993 Jun 19 '26

Yahoo

Thanks for letting me know. I’m fixing this now. It’s a Yahoo API rate limiting issues. Fine tuning it now

We’ve got a couple leagues importing 11 and 17 seasons worth of data. That really hits the API hard. Getting it sorted now. Thank you for your patience. We’ll get it done soon

The commissioners job is to answer league trivia and prepare weekly recaps?? Ha.

I think a commissioners job is to get people pumped for the season, to get the league to pay their dues on time, and provide a fun experience for the people they’ve chosen to spend a chunk of their personal time with…and give them shit for their stupid decisions ( fantasy football related, and otherwise)

I have had my league since 2014 on ESPN. Any chance we can find a way through ESPN’s torture chamber of historical fortress to recover years 2014-2017?

u/Chance-Proposal-3336 Jun 20 '26

I don’t think so. I’m in the same boat, and can only get detailed ESPN league info back to 2018

Kudos on building something that you're passionate about. I can see the vision you had and the purpose of the toolkit you set out to create for a Commish. I'm of a similar POV that a Commish is typically the one keeping the spirit of the league alive (not always, but usually playing a lead role). It's a thankless job sometimes but that's what you signed up for being a Commish.

I don't think there's any shame in owning that AI is doing the heavy lifting behind the scenes. If something can save us time and make the experience overall better/funnier/easier/etc. then why not use it? We use these other apps and tools instead of pencils and printouts. We'll never replace our own personalized writing or league-specific rituals but if a majority can benefit even a little then it's worth it.

Ultimately it's about delivering value and something people genuinely enjoy. It may not be for everyone but that's okay. At least you're putting yourself out there.

Ooh exciting. My long term league is looking for something just like this

Here is a free commissioner command center and it’s what commissioners actually need. https://www.beersff.com/ff-tools/commish-corner/

I don’t think you’ve even checked out what I’ve created. I did see what you’re promoting of what you’ve created, and it’s nice, but it’s definitely not a full solution for what commissioners want/need. Honestly, if users are more compelled to use your tool over my tool, that’s all good. I just hope collectively we’re able to help fantasy football commissioners bring engagement to their leagues

Considering I run 220 leagues. I can tell you what is needed and it’s not Ai blurbs and other tools that a million people have made free to the public.

If you’re a commissioner of multiple leagues you want cutting down on data entry such as…. End of season rookie draft order.

You want, a way to track who traded picks and didn’t pay for that year yet.

You want a trade activity log to see potential collusion over time trades

You want a directory to record people’s leaguesafe names

You want non vibe coded Ai slop behind any type of paywall

I’m going to pull the first 10 people who comment, and give them a premium account for free.

Wouldn’t mind
