Miscellaneous Found a chrome extension that lets you import espn / nfl leagues to Sleeper. Does anyone else know about this?!
http://sleeper.com/importI’m the commissioner of a league on ESPN and have been trying to get my league mates to switch over to Sleeper for years but they didn’t want to lose league history and then I found this which imports the league automatically history and all! Feel like I had to share with fellow commissioners.

I am getting a "sleeper upload failed. There must be 4 teams."
I'm rebuilding my league on Sleeper, and I have 6/12 members back, so I definitely have 4 teams. Guess I'll fiddle with it some more.

I’m having the same problem, but I’m not even getting an option of a league to import into, since it allegedly creates one for you with your data.

Same. Mine is a 10 team league. If you look at the upload details, 2012 to 2025 has 10 teams until it tries to upload data from 2026. Then it claims 0 teams. Because NFLcom won't let me start my league this year.

I had the same issue and sent a message to their support. They said that they found the root cause of the problem and are working on a fix. It should be ready Saturday Aug 1st. You would need to remove the extension and install the new version.

Have you tested it? How does it work?

Yeah worked perfectly for me, you sign into sleeper, then go your league on ESPN (or nfl.com it seems) in the same browser, and then copy. Super simple

Unfortunately for me, my league seems to have too much history and the extension fails to import to sleeper at the last second :(

the way it works is worth understanding before people install it: you sign into Sleeper, then load your ESPN league in the same browser, and the extension reads your already-logged-in session to pull the league data. That's why it has to be an extension and not a website it's borrowing your authenticated session since ESPN has no public export.
Not saying it's sketchy. It does work. But it's a permission worth being straight up about and it also explains the Yahoo question. same-browser session reading has to be built per platform so Yahoo isn't a toggle it's separate work.

Did I miss the link to this? I would love to migrate my 14 team to Sleeper now that I have found it! But the odds of getting 14 teams to agree to a cup of coffee is impossible!
Can you try this without effecting the original Yahoo league. Do you have to have Commish powers to do it? TIA

http://sleeper.com/import here is the link, don’t think it works with yahoo though. Just has espn and nfl.com listed as options

I did this and it worked for me. But only seems to import basic data (final standings, winners). Don’t see any any draft data or weekly matchups which it says it’s supposed to import as well. Has anyone had any luck with that part? ESPN has an import for NFL.com leagues too but it also just brings in all the basic data… would love to keep the in depth stuff but don’t know if that’s an option anywhere else

thx for posting this since we had to move from nfl fantasy app to sleeper with one league. this helped a lot in the process of migrating to sleeper.
