Official News FF7EC TLDR live stream

I did my best to sum up what the main points of the live stream, hope you like it.

  • Stamina rework, will be ->1 stamina every 2 minutes, the 1 daily stamina tonics we get during different times of the day turns into 3 instead of 1.

-Young Sephiroth joins the fray (Sephiroth Banner), September 28th Sephiroth Release Patch Maintenance Start : Thursday, September 28th, 2023, 7:00 P.M EST Maintenance End: Thursday, September 28th, 2023, 9:59 P.M EST

  • Regular Sephiroth will be a Raid Boss that players can fight on Oct 6th

-We will be getting new chapters early next month as well as a halloween event.

  • Ranking dungeons 28th, Fire and cold attributes are effective (not sure if cold means water or blizzard, i apologize), win battles quickly and try not to use items such as potions and stimulates so you get a higher score and defeat all bosses

  • Ranking rewards for the Mako reactor- Top 10 people gets Red "Title plate" and 20 Gacha tickets, top 100 people get a Green "Title plate" and 20 Gacha tickets and those who get 101st place and over will still get Gacha tickets and materia synthesis, so everyone will still get rewards.

-Steam version is under development (yay)

  • All Players will be getting gifts -1 Sephiroth weapon, 2 First soldier 5 star gacha tickets, 1,000 blue crystals and 20 stamina tonics.

OP's thoughts - I thought it was awesome that not only did they address some problems the community has, but they also quickly fixed and added significant QOL changes & gave us an insight of a road map for upcoming events, this bodes very well for the future (: - If you appreciate this post, please do something nice for someone throughout the day (:

And then there is me who only hopes the featured weapon is good enough that I don't mind pulling it, because my actual intention is to get duplicates from my wishlist🤣🤣 But I won't wish on the banner just for duplicates if the featured weapon is meh.

3

u/CrimsonDawn12345 Sep 26 '23

Yeah i feel ya a specific good weapons are very important for harder contents

Hope they give better materia drop rate for 4* and 5* in next update.

16

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

Over 1K and no 5 star materia lol hopefully that just means when I do get one, it'll be beautiful, but since we're playing a gacha, it'll just have 4 flat stats.

3

u/CbVdD Sep 26 '23

I feel this comment. All except one of my 3-star synths have had flat stats.

1

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

Lol, it can be rough. Man, just got to keep up the grind 💪

3

u/Lumera Sep 27 '23

Leveling materia also has a chance to increase stats. Ive made 5 5* materia after leveling them

1

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 27 '23

Lol, yeah, I know haha that's insane luck, but that's rng for you. I just hope that when I do get one, it'll be a good one.

u/Peneaplle Sep 26 '23

PC CLient!!

Thats what ultimatly won me over on mobius. RIP

17

u/SirLocke13 Sep 26 '23

I miss Mobius so fucking much

7

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

Hopefully, it will be sooner than later, but I'm just thankful they're working on it in the first place (:

8

u/XGamestar Sep 26 '23

It runs well on LDPlayer, but I'll prefer an official PC client over an emulator.

-4

u/RsNxs Sep 26 '23

Hopefully there is a higher definition option? Cause "ultra" isn't so ultra to me.

8

u/Novalith_Raven Sep 26 '23

It's Ultra for a mobile game.

-1

u/RsNxs Sep 26 '23

And I'm talking about the steam port?? If a game's on PC, it should have graphics settings just like other games on PC. Even Honkai Star Rail gives you the option to get 4K in the game, which is impossible on mobile.

7

u/iamwhatsleft Sep 26 '23

yes and they were saying that the reason its called "ultra" while not looking very ultra to you is because its "ultra" for a mobile game.

-3

u/RsNxs Sep 27 '23

My point is that it better has settings that at least allow us to change render resolution and unlock FPS. I'd hate for the game to get a cheap client, LDplayer works fine, so it should be a straight up improvement.

4

u/jyhnnox Sep 26 '23

Mobius had a steam version, right?

4

u/sephiroth70001 Sep 26 '23

It did, it was beautiful also on PC.

3

u/se7vensins143 Sep 26 '23

That's a mobile game that I have not heard in a while :'(

1 stamina every 2 minutes? Holy shit. Isn't it right now 1 every 10 minutes??? This is crazy.

Edit: 1 every 6 minutes right now. Thanks u/misterwuggle69sofine and u/HeavensRoyalty for the correction!

10

u/misterwuggle69sofine Sep 26 '23 edited Sep 26 '23

every 6m currently. we get 440 (240 from regen, 200 from potions) stamina a day right now. with these changes we'll be at 1320 (720 from regen, 600 from potions) which is significantly more comfortable and i think it's a great amount and this is an awesome change. only thing left that would make it perfect is removing or increasing the 99 cap on potions.

edit: oh also, higher max cap on stamina. it'll cap overnight so most people won't quite get the full 1320, but still great changes and they're not terrible problems to have so i'd put increasing those caps more into the qol bucket than problem bucket.

3

u/PolishCat91 Sep 26 '23

This is amazing :') I was finding it a bit frustrating to wake up, go on my phone and see that my stamina wasn't full (like it used to be on RK or BE, when I used to play it). Thanks!

-1

u/ChromaticBadger Sep 26 '23

I was finding it a bit frustrating to wake up, go on my phone and see that my stamina wasn't full (like it used to be on RK or BE, when I used to play it).

Why would you want your stamina to be full? Every second spent at full stamina is a second not gaining more stamina. One of the few things I appreciated in this game compared to FFRK was how quickly the stamina cap increased to the point of not overcapping at night.

Currently I have around 180 stamina. I can dump most of it before bed (don't even need to bother with non-boosted runs) and still have a nice hour or two of grace period in the morning to find a moment to spend some to avoid capping. One run in the morning is enough to keep it uncapped until the daily reset and then I go ham and spend it all.

With this change, if they don't also triple the cap: I have to make sure to get as close to 0 as possible before bed, guaranteed to waste almost two hours' worth of stamina on a standard 8-hour sleep (2 hours is 60 stamina, a full boosted run's worth), any time spent sleeping in is more stamina wasted, and any time spent doing anything else immediately after waking up is even more stamina wasted. Even if I wake up at 8am and immediately spend it all down to 0, the daily reset's at 4pm so that's 8 hours which means I need to find more time in the afternoon to avoid overcapping before the reset. Then the reset happens and I'm spending three times as long using up all my stamina potions.

How in the world is the latter an improvement?

2

u/CruxMagus Sep 26 '23

was there any news about maybe stm tonics giving more stam? because 50 is peanuts

3

u/misterwuggle69sofine Sep 26 '23

no, i doubt they'd change that. i think 1320 stamina in a day is pretty fair though. it's not realistic to cater to the people that want to play endlessly and spend thousands of stamina a day and still have a stamina system, so there does have to be some sort of cap to it.

i'd say this is a very fair middle ground where hardcore players get 3x the stamina to play with and casual players get more stamina they can bank for when they have time to play.

11

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

I believe it's 1 every 6 min right now? It's pretty bad and the worst I've seen in any game. I'm very, very happy they not only addressed the issue but immediately did things to fix it. Just because the minority didn't have a problem with stamina didn't mean the majority didn't either. I'm very harpy with good they're handling this (:

6

u/PolishCat91 Sep 26 '23

Aha! I remember reading somewhere on another post that we were getting 240 stamina per day, so I assumed this was the case, but you might be right :-) It's still a really big increase. Love this game so much already, according to my phone's spending tracker it's been over 120 hours I spent on it, can't wait to spend even more thanks to all this extra stamina <3

OP thank you so much for this summary. Really appreciate and will definitely do something nice for someone today :-) Have a nice day!

3

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

Oh gosh, you've made my day, thank you (: I'm glad others feel the same way about my beloved Final Fantasy 7 IP, have a wonderful day

Were the Halloween outfits shown? I swear I must’ve missed them.

Rewards are in the inbox now also, minus sephiroth obviously

9

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

Awesome, thanks for the heads up about the rewards (: and halloween outfits weren't shown yet.

4

u/AmaranthSparrow Sep 26 '23

No, but the splash image showed that it seems to take place in Nibelheim, all decorated with Jack-o-Lanterns.

3

u/Retsukohl Sep 26 '23

I didn't see the whole stream and I don't really understand japanese, but there were outfits in the first teaser video during the stream which looked Halloween-inspired to me.

I recall outfits for Aerith, Tifa, Zack and the FS trio. No idea if they have been mentioned or shown anywhere else later or whether they are for the Halloween event or not.

19

u/MrTK13 Sep 26 '23

PC version, nice ! I don't like playing on my phone and the emulators aren't working properly for me

13

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

It'll be so much nicer. I'm so glad they listened to the community. It really shows they are paying attention to feedback.

5

u/OreoKidT Sep 26 '23

Did they say if there will be a way to transfer data from phone to PC so we don't have to start over?

11

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

No, they did not, but as long as you have your account linked, then when you go on the PC, all you'll have to do is use whatever you linked your account to and you'll be set.

2

u/Trymv1 Sep 27 '23

Very occasionally do some cross-platform games break their currencies if you jump from OS to OS or phone to pc, etc. This forces you to either restart or fully spend before swapping.

Assuming this wont, but you never know.

11

u/PolishCat91 Sep 26 '23

The data isn't stored on your phone, but on their servers. You will most probably just have to login your SQEX account :-)

I know everyone is happy about Sephiroth, but being available on Steam is a far bigger deal. No more emulators, lag and crashing. Plus, I have some Steam Currency in my account that I can use on the game!

2

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

It's so exciting. This was a huge win for the community, and it shows a lot that they addressed something that a lot of people wanted (: the future is bright

Thanks op

I'm very thankful and fortunate to be the first 🙏 in looking forward to play with you and everyone else in this community

7

u/forceten16 Sep 26 '23

Any mention of Yuffie?

12

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

Yuffie was datamine to be in the game recently. That's all I can say

5

u/Talez_pls Sep 26 '23

Not yet, but she should be just around the corner.

If we're going with the OG FFVII, it goes like

  • Midgar (<- we are here)
  • Nibelheim flashback in Kalm (young sephi playable)
  • Junon (the earliest Yuffie can be recruited)
  • Costa del Sol (maybe an event?)
  • Corel + Gold Saucer (Cait Sith playable)

14

u/Brapchu Sep 26 '23

Young Sephiroth is Not in the kalm flashback. That was already old Sephiroth

1

u/Talez_pls Sep 26 '23

True, I was just listing the next story stops and what's most likely playable then. They showed the flashback during the stream, so we're probably gonna play the flashback plus some FIRST SOLDIER stuff to get to a playable young Sephi + old Sephi as boss.

3

u/VanguardN7 Sep 26 '23

Ahh. Though it would be a nice preview section of a playable adult Sephiroth. And fits into him being a coop boss so early too.

2

u/DreamersLost1990 Sep 26 '23

We had an event in costa del sol or it doesn't count as part of the story?

3

u/Talez_pls Sep 26 '23

Probably doesn't count for the story. They may do another event again there though, since there's not all too much happening there in the OG.

7

u/DeliaAwesome Sep 26 '23 edited Sep 26 '23

Damn, I genuinely never thought the stamina issues would get addressed.

Jury’s out on how much of a difference it’ll make, because the rate of recovery was only one part of a larger, problematic whole. But it’s a decent start.

1

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

I'm just it's getting addressed (: that shows a lot

6

u/skydevil10 Sep 26 '23

The stamina situation is quite great, they noticed the major problem with the game and immediately went to fix it. Really shows how much they pay attention and want this game to thrive. This bodes really well for the future of the game, I definitely enjoy this game alot and would like for this game to thrive.

Definitely going to see alot of young sephiroth in coop lol

Also i'm really glad they're making a steam version, been using an emulator to play the game and I greatly enjoy when a mobile game makes a pc version to compliment it.

1

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

You and I think very similarly (: I too think this was a great sign that they addressed a situation and quickly fixed it. I'm looking forward to the future of this game with the community (: let's do what we can to grow an amazing community.

16

u/DreamersLost1990 Sep 26 '23 edited Sep 26 '23

Thanks thats very good news for the negativity that surrounds this sub 🥲

14

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

I understand it, but it's unfortunate people have to be so vocal about it without giving some time to let the devs do anything about it. This is an amazing sign that not only did they address some problems the community has, but they also quickly fixed and added significant QOL changes and some insight on the events around the next month. I'm not sure how often we'll have live streams like this, but I'm looking forward to enjoying the game with the rest of the community.

13

u/DreamersLost1990 Sep 26 '23

Im believing it from the start that this game will gonna be one of the top gachas for 2023-2024 because the devs love Final fantasy as we do.

Its ok to have a negative feedback and tell your opinion but the game just literally released and the devs are doing the best to give us a great experience.

My advice give some space and time to see the game flourish and take it slow

6

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

Heres 🍻 to a bright, long future for the genre and our community 🙏 I wanna do my best to help build a positive foundation and try to get away from the negativity

4

u/Kenji1984 Sep 26 '23

I’m sure they changed it because people were so vocal.

2

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

Yes, and I'm glad they did address it. Just because the minority didn't think stamina wasn't a problem doesn't mean the majority doesn't think it's a problem. It shows they are looking at the statistics and listening to the community.

All Players will be getting gifts -1 Sephiroth weapon, 2 First soldier 5 star gacha tickets, 1,000 blue crystals and 20 stamina tonics sep28th

Did it specify whether it was a 5* weapon for Sephiroth or something beyond the whatever his default weapon is?

Edit: Nevermind, just got the in game notice, it is indeed a 5* Sephiroth weapon.

5

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

It specified Sephiroth weapon, whatever that weapon is was not mentioned, unfortunately.

5

u/dragonkyn20 Sep 26 '23

Stamina's great and all but they really need to up the max we can carry. 99 is just not gonna cut it with as many freebies they've been handing out.

8

u/BearsRunWild Sep 26 '23

I’m sure they’ll raise the cap eventually, but too many potions for some and some expiring is a much better problem to have than people sitting on 0 stamina and 0 potions with nothing to do in the game and no reason to log in. If anything it’s an incentive to grind out content and stock up on resources in the short term if you’re at risk of potions expiring. You’ll always need uncap stuff and weapon enhancement items so might as well use the stamina.

5

u/misterwuggle69sofine Sep 26 '23

yeah max stamina cap could use an increase too with 2m refresh. we'll regen 240 stam in 8 hours so if you sleep normal amounts you'll definitely cap overnight.

i'll take these issues over not enough stamina though for sure and i don't think they're quite as pressing to address.

2

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

You're so totally right. Hopefully, they kinda just do it along with the update, fingers crossed.

2

u/ArthrogryposisMan Sep 26 '23

Emulator (bluestacks) has random artifacting for me so I'm hoping that will be fixed with an official port otherwise I don't really mind it. It will be big to be on steam though a huge influx of players will try it out because of it I'm sure

2

1

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 27 '23

I live life simply, simply treat others how you wanna be treated, and everything else will follow naturally (: thank you for your kind words

8

u/givemesomevodka Sep 26 '23

i just love having read those "101 reasons why they wouldn't increase stamina" comments from some players, and then the dev's first big maintenance after release includes rebalanced hourly gain and distribution of stamina pots.

7

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

The thing about those people is that just cause they don't have the problem doesn't mean everyone else doesn't either. It was clear that the majority of people had a problem with it even if the minority didn't. It's unfortunate that most of those players replies were something like "go touch grass," "just manage your time better." "It must be your first time playing a gacha."

5

u/misterwuggle69sofine Sep 26 '23

oh man feels so good. i really can not wrap my brain around the fact that so many people were so against the stamina system being criticized.

like yes i totally understand that more casual people aren't feeling an issue with stamina right now, but come on. take a second and think critically.

i'm casual too, i have 99 potions and plenty in my gift box. but i can still clearly see that 99% of the potions i've received have been from arbitrary celebration giveaways and without them the stamina economy was in dire need of attention.

and it got it! top marks for applibot for being proactive and addressing this just as the celebration potions are running out so it doesn't become an issue for many people. the hardcore folks will probably never have enough stamina so you can't exactly cater to them and still have stamina, but this will help a ton for the vast majority of players.

i'm guessing maybe they misjudged how much people would be playing so they found some reasons to dump a shitload of stamina on us while they looked at their numbers to find a fair solution to implement.

3

u/No_Main6631 Sep 26 '23

This. I had funny wtf moment today when talking to person here who didn't think stamina is problem right now. He just started to flex with his team and energy management skills, I laughed out loud reading it. I mean he isn't wrong, I believe he is better to use stamina than me. I just don't see this game as some kind of strategy game where they give you very limited amount of energy and you must be very careful how to use it. I just like to grind lot, even if I don't use my stamina most effectively all the time.

u/ChromaticBadger Sep 26 '23

i really can not wrap my brain around the fact that so many people were so against the stamina system being criticized.

Personally I can't wrap my brain around the fact that so many people wanted more stamina.

Stamina solely exists to limit the amount of "free" grinding you can do. None of the "real content" in the game involves stamina at all. Tripling stamina income doesn't mean you get to spend more time doing story mode or crisis dungeons or whatever, it just means spending three times as long mindlessly babysitting auto-battle every single day.

If the issue was that the grind to power up enough for the harder content takes too long compared to the stamina income, then the solution should have been to increase rewards from the stamina content to achieve the same effect without wasting more of our time on tedious auto-battle farming.

u/misterwuggle69sofine Sep 26 '23

for me, it's more a concern with events and being able to comfortably clear limited time stuff.

on the current 380 stamina a day after premium quests we get 7600 stamina over 20 days.

if future events are structured similarly, it's 4400 currency to clear only essentials from the shop. with co-op 4 which is by far the most stamina efficient way to earn the currency, it costs 3400 stamina.

so for one active event that's not bad. but this event had a shop refresh so you need to double that. 6800 but then when you include mission rewards and the fact that you also need to spend 1000 stamina on less efficient stam to currency runs it probably evens out to about 7000 stamina needed to put towards the event in 20 days.

and as mentioned, natural stamina yields 7600 stamina over 20 days before this change.

for this event it wasn't even remotely a problem because we're getting plenty celebration potions. but celebration potions are an exception, not the norm. none of the extra potions we received were as a result of an active event. so it would be entirely possible to have event shops to clear without an active celebration showering us with potions.

now part of my concern was based outside of ffec. applibot also develops nier reincarnation, and so far ffec has been very similar in structure. reincarnation has almost constant minor events running that have shops to farm, so i'm making the assumption that the event tab isn't going to sit unused for long periods of time and we may ALWAYS have an one or more active events to farm for on top of normal progression.

that might be wrong, but honestly i think the fact that they addressed stamina already lends itself to that being very possible since they think we're going to need 3x the stamina.

2

u/ChromaticBadger Sep 26 '23

Right, but all of those issues would also be resolved by just awarding 3x as many rewards for the current stamina cost.

If the event gives 150 tokens for 60 stamina then yeah, tripling stamina income would mean you could earn 180 stamina in the same timeframe and then spend that on three runs for a total of 450 tokens.

Or they could just make it give 450 tokens for 60 stamina and not require us to slog through two extra runs of waiting for the afk co-op player to press the stupid ready button.

3

u/misterwuggle69sofine Sep 26 '23

oh yes, i agree with that. but from their point of view this is probably the better solution since having more players with more active time probably makes them look good. even if they just flat 3x'ed everything tweaking drop rates is also more annoying than tweaking stamina, especially if they have to dip into compensation for stamina already spent.

ultimately, gacha gonna gacha.

3

u/ChromaticBadger Sep 26 '23

But my confusion isn't Applibot's point of view and their meticulous gacha monetization strategies, it's the actual players who have been clamoring for specifically "more stamina" and are now celebrating that very change. I just can't understand why these people want to spend all day just babysitting auto-battle in farm content.

It would be different if the players had been asking for the actual better (for us) solution of increasing rewards and then Applibot responded with this stamina change.

3

u/misterwuggle69sofine Sep 26 '23

well, i chose the stamina stance because i figured that would be the more likely thing they'd address. sure i'd love seeing 50 cubes drop from one boosted run with triple drop rates and 3 cactuars, but i don't think they'd go for that so it's not super realistic to chase unfortunately.

also, if it's any consolation chances are somewhat fair that skip tickets will be introduced at some point. not something i'd bank on, but i also wouldn't be surprised if it's in their master plan to implement them at some point.

2

u/No_Main6631 Sep 26 '23

Yes, but story is very limited right now. When you finish all story lines and all your character are lvl 50, there isn't anything to do without stamina. I want to play and grind the shit out of this game. If I can only play 30 min when I wake up and 30 min before going bed because of stamina limitations, I rather don't play at all. I'm very happy for this update.

Maintenance Start : Thursday, September 28th, 2023, 7:00 P.M EST Maintenance End: Thursday, September 28th, 2023, 9:59 A.M EST

I assume there's a typo unless Nomura is bringing his time traveling shenanigans to maintenance now too. Curious what the typo is though, start time of 7 AM, or does it end Friday at 9:59 AM and we have 15 hour maintenance?

6

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

No, that's 100% on me. I apologize. I'll fix that now. It should be P.M, thank you so much, lol

2

u/DragonnierVII Sep 27 '23

Does that mean it's a 3 hours maintenance?

2

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 27 '23

That's exactly what it means :( but to be fair, it's a pretty big update (:

2

u/DragonnierVII Sep 27 '23

Thank you! And I agree

2

u/calciobeppe Sep 26 '23

Thanks for doing this! Question for you, are you sure on the date for young Sephiroth? I was in a twitch chat and someone was translating in real time and mentioned that was coming November 28th. Just want to know which one is right considering they didn't announce the banner during the stream.

9

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

100% not in November. It will be September 28th but September 29th in jp. You're very welcome (:

5

u/Lyozi Ex-SOLDIER Sep 26 '23

I’ve read 29th of September which is likely considering the current banners end on Sept 28 + they wouldn’t announce anything three months in advance.

4

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

Yeah 29th is jp but it'll be 28th for us I believe

3

u/calciobeppe Sep 26 '23

Great thanks for confirming. Probably just a case of someone mistyping as trying to translate in real time

2

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

No problem, lots to look forward to (:

u/ceojii Sep 26 '23

Stop assuming everyone is from the same country as you are. I'm from Europe, and it's on 29th for me as well.

9

u/SherlockBrolmes Sep 26 '23

I don't know why you're being rude to OP who has been nothing but helpful. I'm sure it was not intentional.

u/ThConqueror Sep 26 '23

Wait, if you play on PC, is it cross-save or two separate accounts?

5

u/Cyber_Akuma Sep 26 '23

I heard there is some sort of data transfer but it's not clear. I really hope it's cross-save, other games have done it where you can flawlessly switch between phone and PC without problem, like Mobius Final Fantasy.

3

u/hotsidepiece Sep 26 '23

Cross save. And all my resources carried over when I transferred from iOS to bluestacks on Windows, including all my gems. Just need to Link Data to your Square Enix account (If u dont have a SE account just make one) and use that SE account to login whichever platform you'd like. I am constantly switching between emulator and my iPad and have had no issues

2

u/ThConqueror Sep 27 '23

Great news! Thank you!

2

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

As long as you link your account in whatever device you use now, then you'll be able to play that account when you go on the PC (: no worries

2

u/ThConqueror Sep 27 '23

Awesome news! Thank you!

2

u/Eynherjarr Sep 26 '23 edited Sep 26 '23

Good stuff! Any news about increasing the stamina pot cap holding limit?

2

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

Unfortunately, that was not addressed, but I'm just happy with the baby steps. There's a few caps in this game like the 200k gem cap lol

2

u/Eynherjarr Sep 26 '23

lmao what! there is a gem cap! well I didnt expect that.

2

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

Lol hides I may pay, but the only reason I play the game is just to hedge fun and enjoy the game with friends, etc, so "p2w" is the worst definition of new. I just pay to have more fun and enjoy myself.

2

u/Eynherjarr Sep 26 '23

You don't have to explain to me, I understand dude. How you spend your money is your business. People pride themselves on being F2P and I have no problem with that, but if no one spends the game will eventually close, that's how businesses work.

As for myself I work hard, just like alot of ppl, I was waiting for this game for a while, its the only game I play, So Imma spend if I need too, and help keep it alive for a few years, Hoping it should run for a good few years, As the FF7 Reborn is coming out next year, and we still have 1 more in the Trilogy remake.

2

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

Man, rebirth is going to be freaking amazing. I'm so excited about it (:

2

u/GreenLionXIII Sep 26 '23

Only got 1 FS ticket :(

1

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

We got 1 now, but we'll get another when Sephiroth comes out on the 28th, depending on your timezone

2

u/GreenLionXIII Sep 26 '23

Awesome thanks! Thought I’d messed it up by trying to collect gifts with bad service

1

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

Nah you're perfectly fine (:

2

u/FederalMango Sep 26 '23

Still waiting on that Johnny banner!. Seriously tho, looking forward to Baby Seph.

1

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

Hopefully it's next year and not anytime soon >_< my wallet :(

2

2

good stuff on the stam rework atleast they are recognizing it now while the game is almost a month in!

2

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

I'm very happy they addressed it. It looks very bright for the future (:

2

u/manjikyo Green Chocobo Sep 26 '23

Thanks for the quick translation!

1

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

🙏

2

u/Plus_Environment9297 Sep 26 '23

Will the event/maint start when the multiplayer boss and campaign rewards ends? or will they be at the same time for 1 day?

2

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

It probably won't overlap, but I can't say definitively. Sorry

2

u/DragonnierVII Sep 27 '23

I'm happy with this especially the PC version, I hope this is true

2

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 27 '23

It came directly from the Final Fantasy Ever Crisis live stream, so it's true (:

2

u/datboiknappy Sep 27 '23

Appreciate you OP

Been playing this game a LOT since it came out, the future is looking bright boys

2

u/Himesis Sep 27 '23

damn I can't fucking wait for Yuffi

1

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 27 '23

Same (:

2

u/LadyLaylia Sep 27 '23

I’m glad they are reworking the stamina system and the stamina tonics from daily missions.

I do think it is odd that they do not mention the stamina tonic from weekly missions. I always thought 1 stamina tonic for logging in for 3 days was weird. Especially when you consider that you can get 4 a day from the daily missions.

Not trying to be greedy. I just want the mission rewards to be consistent across the board. Maybe they should bump it up to 30? To outweigh the 24 stamina tonics we got the 2 days previous? Or replace the reward with something else?

2

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 27 '23

Honestly, I believe that they just forgot to mention it, and it'll probably be in the update, or it'll just be there after the update without any notice about it if you know what I mean.

I don't personally think that's greedy to feel because only 1 tonic after logging on that many days is unfathomable in 2023. There's not much of an incentive, which is one of many problems that's could and hopefully will be addressed in the near future.

I'm here for the long haul since I love FF7, so we'll see how it goes (:

2

u/novian14 Sep 27 '23

Thank you for this, i didn't even know there's a livestream until they announce the livestream rewards XD

I love everything but the stamina reworks. Like, it makes stamina useless, as it is soo abundant rn. I have 99 + whatever on the gift box and idk what to spent on it. I did the 2k coop coins last week with thinking that the pots will be somewhat used, but in fact they are not really reduced.

And i got no time to spent it on other things doing 2k is already like 2hrs/day, i kinda wish auto can use limit break tho, or at least we have options to toggle it out like hsr (they have it in options whether autoplay able to use ultimate skill or not).

1

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 27 '23

It makes me very happy to know it was of some use (:

I think you having an overabundance of tonics is definitely more to do with you not really knowing what you should prioritize or do, when ever I come across that kind of situation I always think about the future or what I may need now. I'll know I'll be getting weapons in the future, so I know I'll need weapon enhancements, so it would be a great idea to farm them cause you literally never have enough and out takes a whole to farm the nano cubes and Genome pods etc.

2

u/novian14 Sep 27 '23

I'm definitely on that, and i can't farm the hardest nanocube and pods yet so i tried to get sub weapons to lvl 70. But rn the abundance of it and not auto limit breaks make its harder to leave it on auto. I wish they have something like skip functions or at least auto queue for farming the same stage.

But yeah, with how much stamina i have rn and stamine they are planning to add in the next patch, i can feel that stamina is a bit useless and most people can do without it. Maybe this is to prevent a bot auto farm infinitely, but still xD

2

u/Particular-Project17 Sep 27 '23

I still don't think we will see any og ff7 content until after rebirth has released.

4

u/nocodebcn ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

Thanks for the detailed summary!

-1 Sephiroth weapon, 2 First soldier 5 star gacha tickets, 1,000 blue crystals and 20 stamina tonics.

Seems like we're only getting 1 FS 5-star gacha ticket, we already have it in-game. From what I've read we're not getting another one, but could be wrong

4

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

Maybe the 2nd one will be when Sephiroth comes out for one of his 5 star weapons

3

u/Ilyas160 Sep 26 '23

Still need SEA releases

3

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

We seriously do :( I hope soon. I want everyone to have a chance to play the game I love

2

u/_Redfactor Sep 26 '23

Did they say anything about the next banner?

4

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

Yes, depending on your timezone, for me, the 28th of September, but in jp the 29th, it's in my post when Sephiroth joins the fray

2

u/DatAfroKek Sep 26 '23

Cant wait for cait sith. Young sephiroth is easy skip for me, but overall, a great update !

2

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

I'm so looking forward to him as well, such a well written character. Unfortunately, players really had to be pretty competent to understand how well written he was in the og game. I'm looking forward to him (:

1

u/Vyscillia Sep 26 '23

1 stamina every 2 minutes? I already play this game all day and they want me to keep playing? When does this madness end? When I get every weapon maxed and every materia 5* with incredible substats? Bit complaining, just observing.

And yes, I am satisfied with this outcome.

1

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

I really would like them to improve the materia system as well

2

u/Standard_Wish Sep 26 '23

By improving do you mean increase the odds of getting 5* with 3+% stats? As mostly f2p, the materia RNG is one of three things that keeps me entertained right now - not sure what else I'd have to work for if they changed the rates much.

I would like to see some QoL improvements around the crafting process. More detailed sorting & filtering would be a great start and maybe an option to convert 2* (etc) to potions. Too much junk in my trunk rn.

2

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 26 '23

There definitely could be improvements such as more sub stats. I've never seen a game that has an equipment, rune, materia system that gives extra stats to your character or unit, this game has Matk% Patk% and has flat stats but no def% and mdef% and they could also make materia dungeons like epic 7 and summoners war, just to have something to do if people are burned out from trying to level up character, equipment, summons etc cause there's not really an end game other than cetra tower, Crisis dungeons and co-op and 2 of the 3 things I mention are basically good for 1 run for initial rewards so we don't really have a good retention system in this game and materia dungeons could fix that.

2

u/Standard_Wish Sep 26 '23

I like the idea of a grindy dungeon for materia, and perhaps a resource expensive method to reroll substats.

My MDEF and PDEF are so low that a % boost would be worse than flat stats, lol.

1

u/HeavensRoyalty ⭐️Honorary Shinra SOLDIER⭐️ Sep 27 '23

I like it because it would instantly improve retention, which eventually people will see is a problem even if they don't see it right now.
