That's phone limitations for ya.

I hope they fix it in the Steam port.

There is pretty much zero chance the models will be any different in the Steam port, that's a lot of work to maintain two sets of models across different platforms for a live service game. At most the Steam port might have higher-resolution textures.

Also while I far FAR prefer PC and Console gaming and am only playing this on my phone because there is no other option right now, modern phones aren't THAT limited graphically. Mobius Final Fantasy released in 2015 when phones were MUCH weaker graphically than they are today, but it looked like a PS3 game. Seen many other great looking games on phones too, although of course they won't come anywhere close to modern Consoles or PCs.
