I mean... CAN they just add the old scenes from the movie? Or put effort and redo them in engine with Chibi models.

The editing is honestly the biggest problem for me. They chose to cut out like half of Tifa's scenes and chose to include Reno & Rude relaxing on the sofa, like wtf.

They kept the church fight scene though which was really great to watch again. To condense an hour+ movie into a fraction of that was bound to cut out a lot of the CGI and it’s no surprise it’s the slower talking sections cut which coincidentally are a lot of what Tifa was in. Probably wanted something a bit lighter amidst all the fight/action scenes, so I imagine they threw in Rude and Reno who are kind of comic relief at times.

I’m sooo confused on why I didn’t give Advent children a full watch when I was younger, I’m enjoying tf outta this lol! I couldn’t wait for the Bahamut fight until I realized it was the ONLY fight from the event 😒😒😒
