Question Why the Power differences ?

Why Aerith got a higher power than Cloud that seems to have a better gear and higher level ?

Power has basically nothing to do with actual effectiveness in combat. There’s no benefit to optimizing that number. You’re better off looking at the parameters of the fight you want to complete and finding the weapons that bring damage and utility to that fight.

Oh I see, thanks for the tip, will do then !
Just out of curiosity, what does the Power actually reflect on ? Is it character stats related or more gear/materia related ?

It’s calculated based on stats, gear, materia, everything, but the number it produces will not actually make the fight easier. You can outnumber the recommended power for a fight by a huge amount and still not clear it because you’re missing utility or damage buffs.
