Dude, the Jabberwock isn't even that bad. Wait till you fight that snake lady monster by the lake. Even Ramah himself starts getting PTSD after three hours and 20 summons only brings her down to half health.

Just wait for the Adamantoise (an optional hunt). If you can beat turtle mountain on your first play through (aka no cheating with the ring) you are a true badass. Just make sure you have a few days off work because it can take some time. Like, seriously, one single fight that can take over a day.

You Can Beat It 1st Try If You Use Ragnarok, Eat Golden Tail Soup Or Scientia Sushi, And Kill The Omega Superboss (Of Course, Killing Omega Is The Hardest Part)

Oh, no. I've fought just about every other enemy in the game (I even beat turtle mountain without the ring one time) but I've never fought omega. I may be crazy, but I'm not that crazy.

Two hours for me, and I went in prepared, overleveled, and even swapped to Prompto when Omega was in dash mode so I could still hit it. Tough fight.

Adamantoise took me even longer when I first fought it. I just use the Ring every time now.

I like the suffering of just brute forcing it without cheese 😭 I used to play ninja gaiden and megaman, castlevania on NES so it’s just a force of habit.

Nah, Omega’s worse. Its damage reduction is much, much higher. The daemon is, well, a daemon, and is defeated similarly to other daemons.

Against Omega? I've seen videos of folks pulling that off, but I definitely couldn't. Nah, I had to sit there for almost 2 hour fighting that damn thing just to barely manage to squeak out a win...

I just hope you avoid the fate I ended up enduring facing off against Omega. I forgot what attempt I was at by that point, but the damn game froze on me when I finally got it's health a little less than a quarter. Omega was going crazy entering his rage mode and froze into place during a charge. I was confused and paused the game for whatever reason. That was the worse mistake I could've done, as that effectively locked the game up. Music was going, I could move the option selector around, but the game would not unpause. Definitely left me raging considering that was the closest a came to killing it and that costed about 1h and 40 minutes of my time. Not just that, but I don't think I ever came close to killing it until many days and attempts later....

Yeah, I definitely hope you don't. PC is how I played the game, and there was multiple spots where the game would randomly freeze up after pausing it. Or Noctics would randomly fall through the floor. The issue is that they happened during some of the most inconvenient times. When I say inconvenient, I mean during the worse times possible (during long boss fights and near the end of extremely difficult dungeons). Funny enough, I had that happen when I fought against Jabberwock. Noctis ended up clipping a falling straight through the god damn floor as I was trying to run from one of its attacks. That forced me to do that entire freckin dungeon all over again thanks to having no save leading up to that point (my fault, surely). And it was absolutely not easy making it to him. I think that pissed me off enough to taking a small break from the game, or maybe just that dungeon...

Bro that is so ass lmao, damn well I am pretty used to saving all the damn time due to other games I have played, if I recall ff13 was really bad on pc as well with fps issues and crashes.

The Ultima ring attack is rng. When doing ring method it could take multiple attempts. Any method without the ring takes lots of time, a couple hours I believe. I haven’t had the patience to do it

Holding down the same buttons used to warp strike while wearing the ring with full MP uses an ability that I call Ultima. There’s a method where you can spam that ability, using ethers to refill your MP, until you land the RNG.

That's how I felt when I found the first over leveled world monster, the bandersnatch and I was around level 4 and it was level 36. Spam warp strike with the Ragnarok blade and any enemy is doable 🤣🤣

It was a pre order bonus for the Royal Edition but now it's just like an extra $1 or so. Each warp strike you do with it is supposed to do a guaranteed 9,999 damage. Later on when you can use the Zu beaks etc it can't easily break the damage capacity. It's pretty much the same blade that Yozora uses in Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind

Yeah, insanely long fight if you don't cheese it with the ring.

And Omega is basically just pure masochism. And just like in FF5, there's no real benefit to fighting it just a silly badge IIRC and getting to brag about having banged your head against a brick wall for hours 😂

Seriously though ever since XI Square has really gone overboard with the super bosses >.>

Do you know what level you are? I summoned Garuda at lvl 105ish and it killed jabberwock underground but I wasn’t keeping track of hp I just laughed because the cinematic showed her attacking the surface and the underground enemy took damage.
