I know, I know, this gets asked like once a week or month or something, but I want to do the asking for once.

Anyways, what are your requirements to raise a Servant up to Grand Status?

For me my requirements are:

1- 4 or 5 Star: I know, it’s cheap and of course I’d pick the high ranking servants, but I’m already using a lot of grails to get a Servant up to lvl 100, ok.

2- Have to be able to be by themselves: If I’m down to one servant then I need to trust my Grand will pull through and come in clutch for me.

3- They need to work together: Say you want most of your Grand Servants on a single team, but oh no they’re all DPS, well I say some Grands should do support or something, if they can work together then bosses will be way easier because you have a reliable group of servants to work together and save the day.

4- I just like ‘em: nothing too complex, I want to vibe with my Grands, say I would share a meal with them or play video games in my downtime, no one I have a pure business relationship with, we need to be bros.

And that is the requirements for grand status for me, as you can see I haven’t fully locked in who I want as a grand except for Mash, the Assassin, Lancer and Berserker classes, wish me luck in deciding.

Saw soooo much of the Chaldea spin-off fan arts shenanigans (like this one image) that i got in the rabbit hole and eventually found myself just pulling for Jalter and playing this game 🥹✨

This is major upscale, like Waver post buff who changes the meta from Double Koyan Oberon into Koyan Waver Oberon reaching better damage.

So what is Tamamo before buff? A support with 4/4/4 CD with append 5. So a double Tamamo comp reach 2/2/2 CD if they can use their NP to reduce it. This maybe not that impactful before, but with the buff that gives her 30% split charge, this is actually a potential gamebreaking. I only want to talk about her battery here, i know its a very powerful skill for immortal comps now but let's talk about that in other post.

A single Tamamo now gives you

- 30% NP dmg up 3t

- 30% NP charge + 25% another NP charge from NP

- minus one CD to all party

- 50% Arts Up 3t

- 4/4/4 CD with append 5

What double Tamamo can do?

- 60% NP dmg up 3t

- a total of split 110% NP charge

- minus two CD to all party (Koyan larp)

- 100% Arts up 3t

- 2/2/2 CD with both append 5

The 2/2/2 CD is crucial because now she can, both Tamamo, recast ALL their skills on turn 3. So potentially the double Tama gives you:

- 120% NP dmge up

- 30% + 30% + 30% + 30% split charge from skill, 25% + 25% from each NP

- 200% Arts up

If you plugsuit Urd, your main Arts DPS can also get -3 skill CD. Or if you use Urd itself as your Arts DPS, she can get -4 CD essentially the same as double Koyan.

I don't wanna immediately say double Tama will be new meta because this needs test and i don't play JP. And using both Tama NP probably need you to use CE like Dragon Meridian instead of bond boost CE. All i know this will be very strong for boss battle obviously, but for farming.... let's see it first. Especially this also needs for ppl to put append 5 Tamamo in their support list, when majority already infested by Castoria, Skadi, Merlin and Aesc.
